⭐ Happy Vet Nurse Awareness Month! ⭐

At DNA Vetcare, we’re celebrating the incredible work of our veterinary nurses, compassionate, highly skilled professionals who are at the heart of the care we provide every single day. 🐾

From supporting surgeries and monitoring anaesthesia to caring for hospitalised patients and helping pets and their owners through emergency situations, our nurses play an essential role across all areas of our practices. Across both our daytime practices and 24-hour hospitals, our nursing teams provide outstanding care, dedication, and support to patients and clients every day and night. 💚

While this month is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and champion veterinary nurses, we believe in celebrating and supporting our nursing teams all year round. We are committed to ongoing training, professional development, and creating opportunities for our nurses to continue growing their skills and careers within DNA Vetcare.

The dedication and hard work our nurses show every day never goes unnoticed, and we are incredibly proud of the fantastic job they do for our patients, clients, and colleagues alike.

🐾 At DNA Vetcare, we’re always looking for new ways to provide the very best care for pets! 💚

We’re excited to introduce our new PetCellpen, the first of its kind being used across a UK veterinary group. This innovative device uses cold atmospheric plasma technology to support natural healing, reduce inflammation, and complement existing clinical treatments—helping pets recover faster and more comfortably. 🩺✨

The PetCellpen has been rolled out across Streatham Hill Vets, Briar House Veterinary Practice, and Barton Veterinary Centre, giving our teams an advanced tool to enhance patient outcomes and wellbeing. 🐶🐱

With this and other modern technologies, DNA Vetcare continues to combine expertise, compassion, and innovation, ensuring every pet in our care receives the highest standard of treatment. 💚

We’re delighted to share that Animal Ark has joined DNA Vetcare as our 50th practice, a significant moment in our journey as an independent veterinary group.

Animal Ark is a trusted and well-established practice, and its addition complements DNA Vetcare’s proven track record of clinical excellence and client satisfaction, with practices recognised as Best Vets in London and Kent for several consecutive years.

From day one, we’ve welcomed three permanent vets into the team, providing immediate stability and continuity for clients. We’re also preparing for a return to a seven-day service, improving access for pet owners across the community.

To support the team from the outset, we have invested in a cutting-edge ultrasound machine, reinforcing our commitment to progressive, high-quality clinical care and giving colleagues the best tools to deliver outstanding outcomes.

This is an exciting new chapter for Animal Ark, and a proud moment for DNA Vetcare. 🍾✨

A huge and proud milestone for DNA Vetcare👏

After 12+ months of hard work and collaboration, Scott Kerss, Lead Vet Barton Veterinary Centre has become the first team member to enter into partnership within the DNA Vetcare group. 🍾

This is exactly what DNA Vetcare is about, a vet-led, independent group where people who live the values and show real leadership get the chance to become partners in their own practices.

Scott told us he felt the chance to buy into an independent practice had passed him by and the alternatives didn’t fit.
This partnership has changed that. 💚

It opens a path for brilliant vets within DNA Vetcare to grow teams, shape practices, and keep developing without losing what drew them into the profession in the first place.

Looking Back on 2025: A Year of Growth and Impact 💚 🌟

As we reflect on 2025, we’re incredibly proud of what has been a landmark year for our veterinary family, defined by innovation, expansion, community, and an unwavering commitment to improving animal health and welfare.

Stronger, broader veterinary care across our group 🌟

This year marked a major milestone with the opening of our first referral centre. Advanced Vetcare will enhance veterinary care for patients, boasting the first MRI in South London and the expansion of Eye Vetcare into London, strengthening our ophthalmology service.

We celebrated a significant clinical achievement at Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery, completing 1,000 CT scans 💚

Our commitment to round-the-clock emergency care continued with the launch of 24 Hour Vetcare at Old Registry Vets and Briar House Veterinary Surgery.

2025 was another year of expansion, as we welcomed Vet Call Veterinary Surgery, Knotts Yard Vets, Animalism Veterinary Surgery, Westhorne Vets, Winton Lodge Vets Epsom, Winton Lodge Vets Leatherhead, and Tooting Vets to our network of excellence.

Celebrating our people and our impact

We were recognised as Best Vets in London for the fifth year running, Best Vets in Kent for the fourth year running, and ranked as the third best vets in the UK.

Charity and community remained at the heart of DNA Vetcare, continuing our support of WVS and Jai Dogs. Our founder, Dane, was invited to Thailand for the opening of a new WVS hospital and the dedication of a ward in recognition of his efforts.

We loved meeting so many of you at the London Vet Show.

We rounded off 2025 with our annual Awards & Christmas Party, celebrating the achievements of our brilliant teams 💚

As we close 2025, we do so with gratitude to our veterinary teams. With these strong foundations, we look forward to more innovation and achievement in 2026.

It’s been just over a week since The London Vet Show and we’re still on a high! 💚

What an amazing couple of days meeting so many brilliant vet professionals, students and industry friends.

Our stand was buzzing from start to finish:

The spin-the-wheel stethoscope giveaway was a huge hit💫

Cupcakes, tote bags and water bottles were flying off the table 🧁

We loved talking about career opportunities across our independent group and made some fantastic partnership connections! 🤝
