There were other winners in our last two competitions so I would like to tell you about them.
These beauties from the Essex kennels have all either been adopted or are in foster with a view to adopt.
We wish them so much luck for their futures and thank the German Shepherd Rescue Elite for helping these dogs on to a better life.

This coming Thursday, the alternative class will be using chairs!To find out more you will have to be there :)

Congratulations to the joint winners of our 'song titles' photo competition.
Club girl, Gracie - Gimme some lovin by the Spencer Davis Group
and
GSRE Essex kennel boy, Boris - The look of love by ABC

Gracie will get the treats and whistle and a big treat will go off to Boris.

I only remembered to film a couple of the dogs doing GSD parkour last Thursday, sorry.
Here are Duke and Colin. Their first time doing anything like this and Duke nailed 2 paws on. They also ticked off 4 paws on and balance.
Duke is an ex rescue from the Essex kennels of the GSRE, our clubs chosen charity. It's so lovely to see these dogs after they have been rehomed and doing so well.
I have to say that team Duke are throwing themselves into everything at the club.
Well done boys.

Our September photo competition is now open with the theme of 'flower power'.
Open to our club dog and the GSRE Essex kennel dogs with a prize being given to the winner. Please note that prizes may be exchanged for a big, tasty treat if a kennel dog wins as I'm sure they will prefer that.
Only one photo per dog this time so choose wisely :)
The winner will be decided by public vote. You can vote for as many dogs as you like.
The voting will end on 30th September and the winner announced soon after.

I've finally sorted out a musical themed prize for our song titles competition. A whistle and a packet of tweets.... I mean treats :)
Just a couple of days left to vote now.
There is a tie for 1st place at the moment between club girl, Gracie and GSRE kennel boy, Boris.
BUT there are so many others just one or two votes behind them.
Please get voting for your favourites. Voting closes Monday at midnight.
