It’s been nice knowing you, 2024 👋🏽🐾...

A year of transitions in more ways than one. I’ve embraced new things and taken on challenges, both mentally and physically, learning to grow through them rather than around them.

Argo has been my constant, a reminder to stay present and find joy in the everyday - whether it’s a peaceful moment in nature or a shared adventure. Together, we’ve navigated the highs and lows, forging a path toward a life that reflects balance, connection, and freedom.

2024 has been about planting seeds: for creative projects, deeper connections, and the steps toward a more fulfilling future. There’s been uncertainty and even fear, but also clarity and hope for what lies ahead.

As we walk into 2025, I’m holding onto the lessons learned:

As 2024 comes to a close, there’s a moment of quiet introspection and visions of what’s to come.

I tend to keep my plans to myself until they bloom, but Argo insisted that I tell you he’s planning on being the coolest senior Basenji ever.

Black Friday sales and those unfulfilled 2024 goals can stir up a sense of panic. It’s chaos, but CHILL and appreciate what you already have.

Social media makes us insatiable, convincing us we’re spoilt for choice, but here’s the truth: you’re doing just fine and chances are you don't need that shiny new thing. Everything you need is right in front of you.

Take a breath. Acknowledge your wins, big or small. Update your plans. Keep moving forward.

In a world where trees stand as silent witnesses to centuries long forgotten, the Basenji roams - an ancient breed born from the lands of Pharaohs and untamed wilderness. Argo, like the tree before him, is a relic of a time when nature and creatures walked in harmony, guardians of secrets that whisper through the leaves.

Beneath the towering, weathered branches of this ancient sentinel, Argo stands - timeless, proud, and unbound by the age that has carved the earth around him. In his gaze, the quiet wisdom of a breed that has thrived for millennia. And in this moment, two ancients meet - a Basenji, born to the wild, and a tree, rooted in the past.
