Rufus 🐾❤️

This handsome boy is Rufus, a Tibetan Terrier × Chinese Crested cross, and he’s turning 13 this year… although you’d never guess it!

Whenever we take on an older dog, we know things don’t always go smoothly straight away, especially when they’re so attached to their humans. Rufus is one of those dogs, and that’s completely okay.

When we first took him for a walk without his owners, he spent the whole walk crying and constantly looking back to try and find them.

So we took things nice and slowly. We started with a few short visits and half-day daycares to help him get used to being dropped off and picked up. Then came a few short stays, followed by a longer stay over Easter.

Now he’s settled in so well that he doesn’t make any fuss at drop-off and happily joins in with the rest of the gang.

Every dog settles at their own pace, and Rufus is the perfect reminder that patience, consistency and taking things slowly can make all the difference 💛

We got to meet Remy (who joined us for his first longer stay and is also a friend of Shiloh’s 🐶)

Luca from the park who started his first few daycares and short stays with us,

Herbie (who looks exactly like Luca on this pic) had his first overnight stay,

and Mia the beagle who started her daycares and had her first longer stay too 💛

We had some lovely walks in Trent Park,

Ally Pally

And Hampstead Heath- where Rafi, who’s usually a little unsure about water, followed Bailey in for a splash at Hampstead Heath-

plus plenty of our usual Grow Walkies 🐾

And yes… Camilla spent the heatwave hiding under blankets because apparently that was the coolest option 🤷‍♀️😂

Lemon, Maya, Frank & Bailey leading the fluffball gang (with plenty of regulars missing from this photo!) 🐶☁️

Plus Toffee and Rocco enjoying some playtime together - we later found out Toffee had started her first heat that day, so she’ll be taking a little break from stays with us 🩷

Spyro came back after his stay last summer and had the best time playing with Lemon- which we were actually very surprised about as Spyro is not typically a very playful pup, but they ended up having the best time 💛

Maggie & Bloom 🧡

We first had Maggie back in 2024 and she stayed with us pretty much every school holiday after that.

In July 2025, the family got some really heartbreaking news and found out that Maggie had tumours in her kidney and lungs, and not too long after sadly, she passed away November 2025.

They were (and us too) absolutely devasted as Maggie meant so much to them, they decided the house just didn’t feel the same without a dog around and in January little Bloom - another english bulldog puppy- joined the family 🥹

She came all the way from Hungary and she was basically booked in with us before she had even arrived 😂 Bloom was SUPER shy at first, not just with us but with her own family too — which honestly isn’t surprising after 3 days of travelling away from everything she knew. But during her second stay with us she slowly started coming out of her shell and really started “blooming” into the cuddly little squishball she is now 🤍

She started playing with our regulars, following the other dogs around everywhere, and even cuddled up with Shiloh… who looked very confused about the whole thing 😂

I’m sure Maggie is watching over all her little steps and is very happy knowing another little bulldog is keeping the house just as chaotic and full of love 🤍🤍

Lemon's last day with us 🍋

Lemon is a 1 year old cockapoo- but definitely more cocker than poodle with all that energy and his nose on the floor at all times in the park.😅

Lemon first came to us in October 2025 when he was still a puppy, and since then he’s been coming for the occasional daycare and overnight stays. In March, his owners went on a big trip, so we had him with us for a full month!

Safe to say; he is FULL of energy. Probably one of the most energetic dogs we’ve had. He absolutely loves playing, gets on well with everyone, and is super friendly -sometimes just a little bit too much for the other dogs when they can’t quite keep up with him. He’s definitely been told off a few times for that.

One thing we always say is how reliable dog communication is. Dogs are really good at setting their own boundaries, and we try to let them communicate and figure things out naturally. But of course, since someone is always home, we keep a close eye and step in when needed -especially if another dog is getting a bit overwhelmed or frustrated.

Swipe to see baby Lemon and how much he’s grown 💛

Aand that's a wrap on our Easter break with the pups 💙 🎬

From long stays to short stays, daycares to longer holidays - we’ve had a bit of everything. Some dogs have been with us for a full month or a couple of weeks, while others just popped in for a day or a few days.

We’ve had some regulars as well as new faces spend the break with us, and it’s been such a lovely mix. It’s been an honour seeing new friendships form and all their personalities shine.

We also tried to keep things interesting and went on a few little adventures - Bethune Park, Friary Park and Trent Park, giving them plenty of new scents to explore.

Even though it’s been a very busy couple of weeks for us, juggling our other jobs alongside the dogs - and not gonna lie, it did get a bit overwhelming at times (getting knocked over in the park while they were sprinting full speed was definitely a highlight 😅) - we just feel so grateful to be doing what we love: taking care of dogs and giving them all the love while their owners are away! 🩷🙏🏻

Snowy ❄️🐾

Living up to his name in every way- as white as a little snowflake and weighing just about 2kg (if not less)🥹

We first had Snowy at the end of November, and he’s been a returning client ever since.

He might be the smallest in the room, but he definitely doesn’t act like it. Snowy’s got a huge personality packed into that tiny body and always makes his presence known!

Even though we don’t take big dogs (we usually stick to around 13kg max), it’s still not too hard to be bigger than him , so we always make sure the smaller ones feel safe and comfortable around the others - and as you can see from the videos, he’s more than happy joining in, whether it’s Rocco trying to play with him or him trying to get Maya’s attention.

Ever wondered why we always build up a dog’s stay gradually? 🐾

Every dog is different - some settle in straight away, others need a little time to feel comfortable. We start with short visits, then longer ones, and sometimes even overnight stays so they can get used to the space, the other dogs, the routines, and the whole drop-off/pick-up process.

Swipe through to see why taking it step by step makes such a difference - it helps them feel safe, confident, and just enjoy their time with us

And if your dog hasn’t stayed with us yet, we do a free off-peak intro stay so they can meet us and get comfy before any longer visit.

2026 so far:

Lots of very comfy sleeping positions, group walks, and Camilla hiding under the bedsheet like she always does. Bailey & Chloe even made an appearance at pub quiz night at our local 🍺

Maya & Bailey ready in the car for another little trip - we’ve already done Stockwood Park, Golders Hill Park Zoo and a few other dog days out this year. And of course, plenty of .walkies fun in between.

And the videos...
Maya pawing Snowy in the face for attention (her signature move),
Bruce having the best sleep of his life,
Toby trying so hard to get Ollie to play while Ollie just looks confused (apparently Toby does this with the cat at home),
Ollie chasing some squirrels in his sleep,
and Bruno enjoying the first bit of sunshine like we all are after a very rainy start.

Bonus points if you notice all the little moments 👀

This is Toby an 8-year-old Cavachon and the “cousin” of Rocco the sausage.

Toby first came to us last September for a holiday stay, and he’s been back a few times since then - sometimes with Rocco, sometimes on his own.

On his very first stay, he actually got caught jumping onto the chair and table and stealing a leftover chicken… so we knew from that moment that Mr Toby needed close supervision around food 😂 (and it was also a very good reminder for us to keep everything well out of reach).

As usual, we used the long lead with him in the park, but this time we finally felt confident enough to let him off the lead. He mostly followed the other dogs around, and since he’s very food-motivated, he came straight back the second he saw the treats.

Swipe through to see Toby across his stays with us! 🤍

This is Caramel a 7-year-old Shih-poo who spent his second Christmas with us. 🤎

Caramel is a very gentle, reserved little soul. Most of the time he’s quite happy doing his own thing downstairs rather than following us around, and he’s always been on the shy side - especially with other dogs.

That is… until Rafi arrived. Seeing Caramel come out of his shell was honestly so special. For the first time, we saw him properly enjoy himself and play nonstop with another dog. We’d never actually seen him play like that before, and it completely melted us.

Swipe through to see Caramel over Christmas - from our festive photoshoot, to .walkies adventures, to hanging out with Rafi… and of course, one of his very questionable sleeping positions 🐾 💤
