Thought we’d share a good news story from 💚

On Sunday afternoon, a duckling became trapped in the lake fountain after it switched off due to low water levels.

After a park visitor alerted Dean, our Park Patrol Officer, he acted quickly, arranging for the boat to be brought to the lake so a rescue could get underway.

Thanks to the swift response by Dean and Robert, the duckling was safely rescued and reunited with its mum, safe, sound, and none the worse for its adventure. 🦆

A huge THANK YOU to every single one of our amazing volunteers and generous sponsors who helped make the Manor House Gardens Festival such a wonderful success. ❤️

To our volunteers, from organising behind the scenes, welcoming visitors with a smile, collecting donations, arranging the fantastic live music, creating and promoting the event with our wonderful posters, and helping everything run smoothly throughout the day, your time, energy and dedication made all the difference.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our sponsors. Your generosity and support helped make this event possible and enabled us to bring our community together for such a fantastic day.

What a wonderful day! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday at the Manor House Gardens Festival. It was fantastic to see so many local families, friends and neighbours coming together to celebrate our community and enjoy such a special day.

We’ll be sharing lots more photos over the coming days, along with plenty more thank yous to all those who helped make the festival possible.

For now, thank you for being part of such a brilliant day, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! 🌿✨

🎉 Today’s the day! 🎉

We can’t wait to welcome you all for what promises to be a fantastic day! The festival starts soon, with the main stage kicking things off at 11:50am! Make sure you’re there to join the fun from the very start. 😃

🌤️ It’s a warm one today, although it’s currently overcast. The sun could make a surprise appearance, so don’t forget your hats, sunscreen, and anything else you need to stay cool.

💧 A quick reminder: unfortunately, the water fountain by the old road entrance has still not been replaced, so there won’t be anywhere to refill water bottles on site. Please bring plenty of water with you. If you do need more during the day, and other stalls will be selling bottled water.

Have a safe journey, stay hydrated, and we’ll see you all very soon for an amazing day! 🎶☀️

Join Vladimir Lalić at Manor House Gardens Lake for a series of artist talks beside the public sculpture installation, To Move Is To Bloom.

During these informal talks, Vladimir will discuss the ideas behind the work, its connections to migration, Serbian cultural heritage, transformation, and collective movement, as well as the process of developing the sculpture from drawings into a permanent installation within the lake landscape.

20-minute talks followed by Q&A.
