Our UK Online poultry equipment shop has a great selection of quality recycled plastic coops from the UKs biggest names:
- Nestera
- Chick'A
- ChickenGuard

www.englishcountrylife.com

Our prices are below RRP too! If you find a better price, please let us know.

If you're not sure which coop is right for you, just ask us! All the footage in this ad is from our own flock so we can advice from our own experience rather than a product manual. We want you to have a coop that fits your needs and is the most suitable for the chickens you have.

We're here to help. We don't use call centres. Just our small family business talking durect to you so that's either Hugh or Fiona to help you.

Poor Puffin the Orpington is having to contend with chicks flapping in her face, walking all over her (literally) and crawling underneath her.

The joys of motherhood 😉

Today we welcome more chicks to the flock.

This is Cherry the Orpington and she's is a first time broody hen. So far she is doing an exceptional job.

Cherry is currently keeping her chicks inside the coop and is teaching them to eat and drink from the feeder and drinker in there. When she's ready, she can bring them out to a protected area with a covered run.

Today is going to be a scorcher so the covered canopy over the run, the ventilation on the coop open wide and the nest box lid propped open gives extra ventilation and much needed shade.

Puffin has also hatched today. To see her chicks and more head over to our chicken only account.

Caught on one of our stick-up cameras. I just wanted to know what time Tiny the Orpington and her (not so) tiny chicks were being let out of the coop by their autoopener.

If only we were all this enthused at 4:47am 😱
This is the time of year that I bless the autoopeners on the coops so I can sleep and they can range.

Apple the Orpington is doing tremendously well with her chicks.

There was one chick who hatched very late and yesterday found it difficult to get around. Today they were a different chick altogether and can now run at a reasonable speed.

Tomorrow afternoon, we'll take the boundary netting away from their cordoned off area and Apple can venture into the orchard with the chicks.

For updates on our other broody hens, and more , you can find it all on our chicken account

Apple the Orpington's chicks are a bit loud! They're staying in the coop for most of today with food and water to support the chicks who hatched yesterday.

We're keeping an eye on them using stick-up cams so that we can quickly be alerted to any issues without opening and using the coop constantly.
