Fireworks can be extremely distressing for dogs and other animals because of their heightened hearing and sensitivity to sudden, loud sounds. 😰
Dogs can hear frequencies up to 65,000 Hz - far beyond the human range - which makes fireworks painfully loud and shocking for them. 💥
As a result, many animals experience anxiety, rapid heart rates, panic, or even heart attacks. Some try to escape the noise, risking injury or becoming lost. 💔
This New Year’s Eve, show compassion for animals by choosing to skip the fireworks. 🙏
