Dogs Trust Merseyside Welcome to our official Dogs Trust Merseyside page! We're a large rehoming centre based in Huyton, just outside Liverpool.

Opening hours are 12-4pm daily but closed on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Freddie had never lived in a home before being adopted by Joanna and her husband, but she recently sent this wonderful update:

"It’s coming up to 2 months since we have had him in our lives and it’s been the best two months ever! We really cannot thank you enough for giving us the kindest and most fun dog ever! Freddie's fave things to do are pup cups, sunset walks and carrying around his blanket after he has had a bath, last weekend we even went on a walking holiday and he loved it! He is even well behaved enough to take to restaurants and pubs, which is amazing considering he hadn’t lived in a house before! We just wanted to say a massive thank you for the huge change you and Freddie have made to our lives!"

We just love it when people take a shot on a dog that many wouldn't consider "perfect", it may just be the dog of their dreams.

Bonnie ❤️

She's a beautiful but timid nine-year-old girl who was born on the streets of Romania. She's been in our care a few weeks now but she's not really relaxing, so we're doing all we can to earn her trust. Bonnie is so very gentle and with us through no fault of her own, she's just looking for a steady home so she can settle back into family life.

Daisy 🌼

This sweet little Staffy cross would happily play fetch all day. She loves to try and cram as many toys as possible into her mouth and rarely goes for a walk without one accompanying her! Daisy has been with us a couple of months now, with little rehoming interest, so give her a like and a share and lets get eyes on her 👀
