I'm delighted to share that I have my first large cattery booking with Elizabeth and Richard from StrangrFjordr Norwegian Forest Cats 😻😻😻

Elizabeth and Richard are good friends from back in our cat showing days. They started showing their Norwegian Forest cat Reisa at the same show we started showing our beautiful Mia. They now have a very successful business breeding and showing NFC's and have 20 cats 🙀

If anyone is in the market for an NFC kitten, get in touch with Elizabeth. She has the most beautiful little boy looking for a new home - Captain Jack 😻

Thank you both so much for booking with Purr & Polish. I can't wait to get started!! 🐾

🐾 Sunday morning checklist: Cat Parent Edition ☕🐱

Sunday mornings as a cat parent are pretty predictable…

☑️ Feed the cat
☑️ Make the coffee
☑️ Clean the litter tray
☑️ Wonder why the bowl is “empty” when there is clearly food in it
☑️ Accept that the sofa belongs to the cat now
☑️ Provide approximately 47 cuddles
☑️ Do it all again tomorrow 😂

Because apparently we don't own cats — we are simply very dedicated members of their household. 👑🐾

Happy Sunday, fellow cat people! 🩷

Saturday's handsome face belongs to Romeo 🩵🐾

Romeo was one of my lovely cat sitting clients last week, and I think it's safe to say he knew exactly how handsome he was. 😂

I popped in while his humans were away to keep him fed, fussed, entertained and generally make sure everything was as it should be.

He was an absolute pleasure to look after — and clearly very happy to pose for his close-up. 📸😂

I really do love getting to meet all the different characters that come through Purr & Polish. Every cat has their own little personality, and that's one of my favourite parts of the job. 🥰

Going away? Your cat doesn't have to. 🏡🐱

When the littlest, loudest humans are off school for the day…
sometimes you just need to find yourself a cosy little corner, get comfy, and disappear from the chaos for a while. 🐾💤
Do not disturb.
Luka is hiding. 😂🩷💜

Beautiful baby looking for a new home 🩷

After a lot of thought and with a very heavy heart, I have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome Sage. 💔

Sage is a beautiful, loving little girl, but sadly she is not getting on with the other cats here anymore. She is extremely frightened around them and is spending most of her time hiding, barely moving from her safe space. It is clear to me that she is unhappy, and as difficult as this decision is, I feel she deserves a home where she can feel safe, relaxed and truly herself again.

Sage is 6 years young and has never been outside, so she will need a 100% indoor home. Ideally, I am looking for a home with no other pets, although I would consider the right home with one calm, compatible cat.

She is a very affectionate and lovable girl who deserves someone who will give her the time, patience and love she needs to settle and flourish. ❤️

A small rehoming fee will apply to help ensure she goes to a genuine and suitable forever home.

This is an incredibly heartbreaking decision for me, but I truly believe finding Sage the right home is the kindest thing I can do for her. I would much rather make this difficult decision now than see her continue to live frightened and unhappy.

Only serious enquiries from a loving, indoor-only home, please. 🐾❤️

A little Sunday reminder… 🐾

Your cat doesn't need to do anything today.
Neither do you.
Eat something nice.
