❤️ A little update on this lovely boy…
After having Crown For Courage with us on livery for the past 18 months, we’re delighted to say that he is now officially one of our own! 🥰🐴
As many will know, Courage has been looking for a new home, but sometimes finding the right person isn’t quite so straightforward, especially when a horse has a veterinary history.
Not every horse has perfect X-rays or a spotless medical history, but that doesn’t mean they don’t still have plenty to offer. Courage is a lovely example of that. He’s a genuine, willing horse who loves his work, always tries his best and has become a firm favourite on the yard, especially with the teenagers who absolutely adore him.
So rather than see him overlooked for what he has been through, we decided to look at everything he has to offer and give him a job here with us. ❤️
With our wonderful old boy Spud now 23 and deserving of a quieter life, we thought Courage could be the perfect one to hopefully follow in his footsteps.
Spud has been worth his weight in gold over the years, looking after the youngsters, nannying them out hacking, teaching people to ride and helping riders regain their confidence when they’ve lost it on other horses. He’s been that special horse so many people have been able to rely on, and we think he’s more than earned the right to start taking life a little easier. ❤️
We’re hoping Courage can gradually take over some of those duties, while also enjoying a varied role on the yard, from hacking and nannying to jumping, lessons and generally being a fun horse for everyone to enjoy.
A huge thank you to his lovely previous owners for putting their trust in us and giving us the opportunity to take Courage on. We’re so pleased to be able to give him his next chapter here with us. ❤️
Every horse deserves to be appreciated for what they can do, not just judged on what they’ve been through.
*Big shoes to fill, Courage, but we think you’re up to the job!
