Puppies are like little sponges, absorbing new experiences and learning how to feel about the world around them. Introducing grooming at a young age helps build confidence and creates positive associations with being handled, bathed, dried, brushed, and having their nails clipped.

Even if you don’t think your puppy will need regular haircuts, puppy introductions are still incredibly valuable. Veterinary visits, home grooming, paw checks, ear cleaning, and general handling all become much easier when your dog has learned that these experiences are nothing to worry about.

There’s been lots of adorable puppies starting their puppy intro journeys, getting used to all the sounds, smells and cuddles that come with grooming.

And of course, plenty of familiar faces returning for their regular pamper sessions too. Keeping coats healthy, tidy and comfortable, specially as the warmer weather comes around.

From tiny pups to fluffy regulars, every dog is treated with patience, care and plenty of fuss along the way 🐶✨

Reko The Giant schnauzer🖤

At just 5 months old, Reko came in for his puppy intro and was an absolute superstar. Nothing fazed him new sounds, new smells, the bath, the dryer… he took it all in his stride like a pro.

Did we have post-bath zoomies? Of course we did ⚡️
But once the excitement passed, he happily relaxed for his blow dry… curled up on my lap like the big baby he still is. Honestly the cutest boy.

I’m very excited to see have Reko back soon for his first big boy groom. I think he’s going to grow into a very handsome lad!

Starting puppies young helps them build confidence and positive associations with grooming, making future grooms so much easier for them.
