So the reason we were closed for a couple of days....we finally got married, had a birthday and big party. And of course we couldn't have a wedding without including some of our creatures. Seamist my horse carried me to the wedding and The one and only Princess Saxo was our ring bearer. My best friends Emma and Stacey were my bridesmaids,bird handler,horse hair stylist!

Sadly, I’m looking for the right new home for my beautiful boy Pablo.

🤍 10-year-old Umbrella Cockatoo
🗣️ He talks and has plenty of personality — including the odd swear word! 😂
🥰 A really sweet, loving boy, although he can definitely be cheeky
👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Good with both men and women and has been around my children
🏡 I’m looking for a genuine, knowledgeable and loving home where he’ll get the time and attention that cockatoos need.

A few changes to working hours and days over this month due to family celebrations. All bookings are secure and normal daily care as usual.
We will have reduced opening hours on a few days, and closed on 26th & 29th August. Reduced hours 27th,28th and 30th August.

Sadly yesterday we had to make one of the hardest decisions and have Roxy our Bulldog put to sleep. A lot of you would have been met by her, and know she never listened to anything I said! She would ignore instructions to come in, go in lounge or kitchen and walk as slowly as she could. Roxy was diagnosed with lung cancer last month and we knew she was on borrowed time. The house seems very empty and quiet today without her. But she is free of pain and discomfort and over Rainbow Bridge now.

As we enter into the 'Silly season' I ask you all to try and give me an appointment time and keep to it please. I understand that some of you travel a long distance and we all know what the traffic can be like! Giving me an hour window of when you may arrive really doesn't help if I have 6 other customers due that day. It means I am waiting around listening out for the bell. I also do not like having 2 customers here at the same time. I am unable to give you and your birds the attenrion you deserve.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can text me when you leave with an eta. Please do this safely and not whilst driving.

As I have said before, I predominantly work by myself and still haven't cloned myself! 😆
