Banjo is a 7 yr old male Senegal, who I rescued as a 2 yr old after his owner passed away. He is hand reared and very into people, although he has chosen me as his person I think that’s because I’ve put the effort in and he is happy with men & women. I have clicker trained him and he loves learning.

I’m selectively seeking a new home for him as my work/life is changing and I am now around a good deal less - he seems stressed by this and has barbered his chest and tail a little in the last year. No plucking at all. I think he may be happier either with someone who works from home or perhaps has other birds, as although he’s not been mixed with others, he does seem to enjoy the company and he may well be able to be mixed with slow introductions. He stays with Gail regularly and seems to enjoy it!

He would come with a travel cage and plenty of toy / perches etc. He currently eats a fresh chop, and pellets (either TOPS or Harrison’s)

I am not seeking payment for him, I just want him to have the best home.

My birthday presents are growing, the 2 turkey chicks, Chia and Pavos are growing. The 4 guinea fowl chicks are at the ugly stage! No names for them yet other than the crazy quartets.

Just a little request. When you drop off your bird, please can you label your carrier, and any pots,tubs,bags etc you leave here. This year has been very busy, and I know a couple of things have been misplaced. I really can't afford to replace items that have been lost,or inadvertently thrown away. We take the upmost care of your birds belongings, BUT if they have chewed them, they have fallen on to the bottom of the cage, and we throw the paper away, I really am getting a little bit fed up with going through the bin bags and sifting through 💩 to find things.

We have had some interest in our festive afternoon tea. Please say which date suits you best and then we can get baking. We would like to make it an enjoyable afternoon with like minded people.

So the reason we were closed for a couple of days....we finally got married, had a birthday and big party. And of course we couldn't have a wedding without including some of our creatures. Seamist my horse carried me to the wedding and The one and only Princess Saxo was our ring bearer. My best friends Emma and Stacey were my bridesmaids,bird handler,horse hair stylist!
