🍂🐾 Hello September! 🐾🍂

A brand new month and hopefully the start of some cooler, crispier walking weather! 🤞🏼🍁 After all the hot summer days, I think me AND the pups are ready for autumn walks, crunchy leaves and muddy paws again! 😂🐶

I honestly can’t believe we’re already in September — this year is absolutely flying by! 🥹

As always, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who continues to support Mucky Paws and trusts me with their precious pups. Whether I’m taking them out for their walks, keeping them company while you’re away or getting to spend time with them during
sittings, I genuinely love what I do. 🤎

Today I received the news that one of the lovely dogs I look after, Kobi, has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾

No one prepares you for this part of being a dog sitter. You love and care for these dogs as if they were your own, and although Kobe wasn't my dog, losing him feels like I've lost one of my own. The bond you build with them is so special, and saying goodbye is incredibly hard.

Kobi wasn't just a dog I cared for – he became part of my little dog family. Every walk, every wag of his tail, every cuddle, and every moment spent with him brought so much joy. I feel incredibly lucky to have been a small part of his life.

My heart goes out to his wonderful family. There are no words that can take away the heartbreak of losing such a loyal friend, but I hope they know just how loved Kobi was by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Run free, beautiful boy. Chase all the balls, enjoy endless treats, and make lots of new friends over the rainbow bridge. Thank you for all the love, laughter, and memories you gave me. You'll always have a very special place in my heart.

Sleep tight, sweet Kobi. Until we meet again. 💙🐾🌈
