🦟🐾 Don’t underestimate fleas just because the weather is getting cooler!

Fleas can survive in warm homes, hiding in carpets, bedding and soft furnishings. That’s why I’m making my own natural flea repellent spray to help keep them at bay. 🐶

🐶💤 Sleeping with your dog may be good for both of you. Research suggests that close human–dog contact can support feelings of comfort, security and connection. ❤️

So those bedtime cuddles might be good for you both. 🐾

Thank you to Ralf and his owner Stefano Dianin for sharing the evidence!

🐾 OFF! GET OFF!

Does your pup love putting their paws where they shouldn’t? 😂 Teaching an “Off” cue gives them a clear and positive alternative.

Here’s how we teach it:

🪑 1. Paws up – Use a stool, encourage paws up, then mark & reward.

👉 2. Add the hand gesture – Sweep your hand towards the floor and drop a treat. Repeat.

🍖 3. Fade the treat – Give the gesture, wait for them to get off, then mark & reward.

🗣️ 4. Add “Off!” – Say the cue just before the hand gesture.

Keep it calm, positive and consistent.

We’ve been a little quiet lately, and we’d like to apologise for the long absence.

Unfortunately, our valued member of staff, Ralf, hasn’t been feeling his best. The good news is he’s now back on track and doing really well! 🐾

You’ll be seeing plenty more of Ralf’s training progress and updates very soon.

Thank you for your patience and continued support!

Ralf has definitely got some opinions about transport. 🚆🚗😅

Cars aren’t really his favourite because they can make him feel a bit motion sick and trains can be a little noisy and unsettling for him. So today, we worked on helping him feel more comfortable around the train station.

We spent some time on the platform watching trains come and go and by the end of the session, Ralf was happily watching them pull in and open their doors.

No pressure, no forcing anything - just plenty of choice, confidence-building and tasty rewards.

Next up might be hopping on a train… if Ralf decides he’s ready.
