Me and Pebbles had the absolute privilege of spending her birthday morning walk with her today! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅฐ

Effie really is the loveliest lady and always such a pleasure to have on a walk. We hope youโ€™ve had the best birthday, gorgeous girl! ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ’•

Recall is a fun one โ€” and one Iโ€™m constantly revisiting with Pebbles! Her recall is 10/10โ€ฆ 99% of the time. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Until that nose takes over and apparently the brain clocks off. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Having to revisit, relearn or remind your dog of something is ๐ง๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐š ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž. Sometimes Iโ€™ll break up a walk with a little engagement work to help Princess Pebbles remember that she does, in fact, have a brain and it needs to work alongside her nose! ๐Ÿ˜‚

And thatโ€™s okay! Training is an ongoing process, not a pass-or-fail test. ๐Ÿพ

Frank and Gracie recently ventured to Pontefract Park with us and their mum, putting their skills to the test in a new environment!

These two are doing so well and making some lovely progress โ€” although we have to admit, Mum is nearly keeping up with them! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚

Because letโ€™s be honestโ€ฆ sometimes the training is just as much about the humans as it is the dogs! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค

Weโ€™re so excited to watch all three of them continue to progress!

Lovely Nalah is joining us for some confidence building! Her mum has already done an amazing job managing her reactivity โ€” she just needed that last little bit of support. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Weโ€™re working on building Nalahโ€™s confidence around other dogs, helping her feel more comfortable in their presence and teaching her that she can remain calm and neutral without needing to react.

We canโ€™t wait to watch this gorgeous girl progress! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค
