I’m looking at starting a Sunday obedience class again on Pickering Park,

10am–11am 🙌

£15 per dog

If you’re looking to improve your dog’s obedience around other dogs and distractions, get in touch.

Some of the things we’ll be covering:

• Recall
• Sits and down stays
• Lead manners
• Place training
• Confidence building
• Socialisation
• Neutrality around other dogs
• And much more!

Open to all breeds, aged 6 months and over.

Reactive dogs are welcome, but you’ll need to complete a 1-to-1 session with me before joining the class.

This is Lilly, a stunning Doberman i worked with on sunday.

Lilly hasn't had the best start in life, she was abandoned and found tied to a lamp post!
She ended up in a Doberman rescue centre.
Lilly has been with her current owners on a fostering to adopt basis.
Only problem, she was nervous and extremely dog reactive, which under the circumstances is quite understandable!
For things to work in her new home, we really needed to fix that, so there was a lot riding on this!

Well this was Lilly after one session...

Completely calm, completely neutral..

It's safe to say Lilly will now be staying with her foster parents and has now found her forever home ❤️

There is still work to be done, she will be attending my neutrality classes, where we can really build on that external pressure around dogs and get her even more comfortable being around them 🙂🐕🐕‍🦺

I’m looking to bring back our Sunday morning obedience class at Pickering Park, £15 per dog, running from 10am–11am, and I’m gathering interest before getting things started.

We’ll cover recall, sits and down stays, confidence building, socialisation, neutrality, lead manners and much more—helping you build a better relationship with your dog and improve their obedience around distractions.

Dogs from 6 months old and and breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs can also join after first completing a 1-to-1 session with me.

I’ll need at least 6 dogs signed up to make the class viable, and I’m hoping to get started as soon as possible.

This is Riley, a Labrador who was highly reactive before I worked with him.
His owner sent me a lovely message last night thanking me, with a video of him at the vets in the waiting room with loads of other dogs!
(They used to have to take him through the back way).
I hadn't even gone to work with Riley originally, I had gone about their Dutch shepherd pup that was causing mayhem.
Riley was just a side quest 🤣
But things like this make me extremely happy and is exactly the reason i love doing what i do 🙂🐕🐕‍🦺

This is Baxter a Yellow lab i have been working with.
Baxter is very nervous and he was human and dog reactive.
He would bark and lunge at dogs and people, whether they where close to him, or the other end of the street!
His owner block booked 4 sessions, to really get him sorted.
This is him at my neutrality class after 3 of those sessions..
We worked hard with disqualifying nerve and replacing it with confidence..
The results speak for themselves!
Relaxed, no reactivity, no avoidance, no nerve, just a bit of inquisition, which is absolutely fine at this stage of his rehabilitation, we aren't looking for perfect obedience at this point..

Here’s a little before and after of Corby! 🐕

Corby is a big, daft Lab, but when his owners first contacted me, he was extremely reactive and a serious puller. They had previously worked with another trainer but unfortunately hadn’t managed to resolve the issues.

After a few 1-2-1 sessions, showing his owners how to communicate with him clearly and handle his reactivity, the difference has been brilliant. His owner has put a huge amount of work in between sessions—and it shows! 👏

Last week, Corby attended my Neutrality Class. It was the closest he’d ever been to that many dogs at once, and he absolutely smashed it! He stayed composed, listened to his owner and completely held it together. 😃

Everyone did amazing.
Had some new dogs today as well that showed some real progression 😃🐕‍🦺🐕
