Amy Donaghue from "Never Give Up Rescue" in Hull promised me that she would look after my cat IVY and her newborn kittens as I had to move out of a temporary house I was staying in, she turned nasty about a week after she had my cat and sent me a text message saying she had given my cat and kittens away.
I contacted Hull police and had 2 cases opened but on both occasions failed to act and stated it was a civil matter.
Amy never even gave me a chance to reply, I would never of agreed to let her give my cat and kittens away, she has blocked me from her page, blocked my number and even blocked my sister and friends who tried to help me to locate my cats.
I am starting this page because I have tried every avenue and all dead ends, RSPCA, POLICE, CITIZENS ADVICE, CATS PROTECTION etc.
Nobody has the right to simply give so someone's cats away after being entrusted in their care.
It appears that this could happen to anyone and I am determined to bring this issue to light and initiate a change in the law so this does not happen to anyone else, and of course get my beloved IVY and my kittens back.
She would not have attempted to do this if I was not in a vulnerable position I.e. homeless, she knew that I would not be in a position to do anything about it as I was street homeless, but now I am in a better position I am fighting back.
I have a disability and am struggling with my mental health, but I will find every bit of strength left to get my IVY back.
If anyone knows a good solicitor who could act on my behalf, could share this page, or offer any support in my fight I would be greatly appreciative.
THANK YOU - Richard Cartwright
