Important Client Notice Regarding Appointments 🐾✂️

Hey everyone! As many of you know, Tartan Tails is a small, independent dog grooming business, and I put my heart into giving every pup the individual care and attention they deserve.

Because Tartan Tails is a small business, last-minute cancellations and missed appointments have a huge impact on my livelihood. When an appointment is canceled without enough notice or missed entirely, it leaves a gap in my day that I simply cannot fill on short notice—which means a direct loss of income.

To protect the business and keep our schedule running smoothly, I kindly ask for plenty of notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (minimum 48 hours notice).

Going forward, failure to provide adequate notice or missing an appointment will result in a charge of 100% of the missed appointment cost before a new booking can be made.

I truly appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and ongoing support in helping keep Tartan Tails running!

Another busy week in the salon, can’t believe it’s been 3 weeks already it’s flew in!

Here’s a couple photos of the non camera shy clients I’ve had in this week!

First we have Rosie the Miniature Schnauzer, she’s such a pretty girl 💜

Then we have Brandy, was a little nervous at first but settled down nicely once given plenty of hugs and kisses 💙

Hi everyone, just thought I’d say a massive thanks to everyone who has supported me this far, I appreciate each and every one of you for keeping me busy.

Firstly we have little Benji in for his first ever haircut, he was a little nervous but was very brave.

Secondly we have Archie in for his bath and de-shed, he refused to look at the camera but he was the bestest boy!

Tartan Tails — Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Please Note: Tartan Tails is a small, independent business. Last-minute cancellations significantly impact my business income and prevent other dogs from getting standard care. To help me keep running smoothly and fairly for everyone, please review the booking terms below:

🐾 48 Hours Notice (Standard Cancellation)

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any grooming appointment without penalty.

This allows sufficient time to offer the open slot to another client on our waiting list.

🐾 Less Than 24 Hours Notice & No-Shows

If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, full payment (100% of the missed session fee) will be required.

Future Bookings: Full payment of the missed appointment balance must be settled in full before any future appointments can be confirmed or booked.
