🐾💚 Meet Storm — My Little Gentleman 💚🐾

I had the absolute pleasure of spending some time with 17-year-old Storm while his lovely humans were away. 🥰

And what can I say about this gorgeous old gentleman? He completely stole my heart. ❤️

Storm is a proper character — a cuddly, affectionate boy who decided very quickly that Auntie Sonn was his human for the week! 😂

Every day I arrived, he was waiting for me, and before I knew it he would be climbing straight onto my shoulder like a little parrot 🦜🐈‍⬛. And at night? Well… apparently my job description included being a full-time cat mattress, because Storm slept ON me every night! 😂❤️

There were cuddles, lap time, sleepy snuggles, head nudges and plenty of Storm telling me exactly what he thought of everything. 😹 He even managed to make leaving for work difficult by making himself as comfortable as possible on me!

When his humans came home Storm actually went looking for me in the bedroom we stayed in.🥹 And when she called him, he appeared on top of the black bin outside but refused to come inside until his loyal servant went outside and picked him up! 😂

I absolutely adored my time with him, and I already miss his little face and those cuddles so much. 💚

Storms parents very kindly gave me permission to share these photos, and they also said:

“You are now his second mummy, that’s for sure!” 🥹🐾

That honestly meant the world to me.

This is exactly why I love what I do with Wags & Whiskers. It’s not simply about making sure your pets are fed and cared for while you’re away — it’s about giving them company, affection, attention and a little bit of home while their humans are gone. 🏡❤️

Thank you so much for trusting me with your beautiful boy. And thank you, Storm, for all the cuddles, shoulder rides and for making yourself completely at home. 😂🐾

🐾💜 OFF ON ANOTHER ADVENTURE! 💜🐾

This weekend I’m off on another Wags & Whiskers adventure with two very handsome boys! 🐶🐶

Their humans are heading off for a little break, so I’ll be stepping in for some cuddles, care, dinner, breakfast and plenty of fuss while they’re away. 🥰

Now the big question is…

✨ Where will our adventures take us? ✨

I’ll be sharing a few little snippets from our weekend (with their humans’ permission, of course!) so you can follow along and see what these two handsome boys get up to. 🐾💜

🐾 Meet & Greet 💜

Another lovely Wags & Whiskers meet & greet today! 🐶💜

Today I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous girl and spending some time getting to know her before her upcoming stay with Wags & Whiskers.

She’s a beautiful, long-legged girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime, cuddles and attention! 🥰 And she’s also rather partial to sitting on you… apparently I’m already a very comfortable piece of furniture! 😂🐾

As part of my meet & greet process, I like to spend some one-to-one time with your pet in their own home. Once we’ve all had a chance to meet, I ask their humans to leave us for a little while so I can see how they are with me independently, in the environment they’re familiar and comfortable in.

This gives me the opportunity to get to know their personality, see how they respond to me, and make sure they’re happy and settled in my care. ❤️

It’s really important to me that every pet feels comfortable with me before their booking begins — and that their humans can go away knowing their much-loved family member is in safe, caring hands. 🥰🐾

I can’t wait to spend more time with this lovely girl and give her a fun, relaxed and loving stay while her humans are away.

🐾 What happens during a Wags & Whiskers pet sitting visit? 🐾

Every pet is different, so I always like to get to know your pet and their usual routine before I visit. 💜

During a visit, I can help with things such as:

🐶 Feeding and fresh water
🐱 Litter tray changes
🐾 Toilet breaks and walks
💜 Plenty of fuss, attention and companionship
🏡 Checking that everything is safe and secure
💊 Medication where agreed and appropriate
📸 Updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and settled

I believe pet sitting is about more than simply popping in and feeding them — it’s about keeping their routine as normal as possible and giving them the care, attention and reassurance they’re used to. 🥰

🐾✨ Meet & Greet SUCCESS! ✨🐾

Well… today has been a pretty special day for Wags & Whiskers! 🥹🐶💜

I headed off for a meet & greet with two very special little boys, and I’m absolutely delighted to say…

IT WENT BRILLIANTLY! 🐾🎉

There were a few nervous moments at first — one of the boys was understandably a little unsure about this strange new person appearing in his home — but we took our time, gave him space and let him come to me when he was ready. ❤️

And by the end of our visit, we were all feeling much more comfortable. 🥰

I’m now officially booked to look after these two gorgeous boys, and I genuinely cannot wait for our first Wags & Whiskers adventure together! 🐾💜

What makes this one extra special is that this booking came through a recommendation from the local community. Someone I don’t even know recommended me — and that honestly means more than I can say. 🥹

So thank you to whoever it was who recommended Wags & Whiskers. ❤️
You’ve helped me take another little step forward with something I’m building from the ground up, and I am SO grateful.

🐾 Missing my little adventures 🐾

This time last week I was getting ready for another day of adventures with my four gorgeous fur friends… Arthur, Milo, Roxy & Skye 🐱🐱🐶🐶❤️

I honestly can’t believe how quickly the time has passed. One minute I was waking up surrounded by furry faces, making sure everyone was happy, going on walks, having cuddles and enjoying all the little moments… and now reality has kicked in and they’re all back home with their families. 🥹

I knew I’d miss them, but I don’t think I realised just how much.

My days feel a little different and, if I’m completely honest, I feel a little lost now that my latest adventures have come to an end. 💔🐾

But what an absolutely amazing few days it has been. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been trusted with four very special little souls. ❤️

So here’s to the memories, the muddy paws, the cuddles, the chaos, the funny moments and all those little moments that I’ll carry with me. 🥰

🐾 What an amazing few weeks ❤️

Since 6th August, I have had the absolute pleasure of spending time with some very special new fur friends, and what an amazing time it has been! 🥹🐾

I’ve been lucky enough to meet Milo and Arthur 🐱🐱, Roxy 🐶 and Skye 🐕, and each of them has completely stolen a little piece of my heart.

From cuddles and sleepy mornings, to walks, playtime, garden adventures, muddy paws, silly moments and everything in between… I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better few weeks. ❤️

Every animal has their own little personality, their own quirks and their own special way of making you smile — and I’ve loved getting to know every single one of them.

There have definitely been some emotional goodbyes along the way 😭, but thankfully not all goodbyes are forever… sometimes they’re just “see you next time.” 🥹🐾

So here’s to Milo, Arthur, Roxy Roo and Skye — thank you for making the last couple of weeks so bloody brilliant. ❤️

I feel very lucky to have crossed paths with you all, and I can’t wait to see what adventures come next! 🐾✨

End of an era 🥹🐾❤️

And just like that, my time with my beautiful Roxy Roo has come to an end. 😭

I honestly don’t know where the time has gone, but I do know I’ve made some very special memories that I’ll treasure for a long time. She has completely stolen a little piece of my heart, and saying goodbye this morning was definitely harder than I expected. 💔🐶

But every adventure has to come to an end eventually… and now it’s time for me to pack my bags, dry my tears and head off to my next adventure with Skye. 🐾❤️

One chapter closes, another begins… ✨
