**Forever Home Update!** - CRACKER ❤
"He's been camping, for the first time! First to Whitby and then to Muker in Swaledale.
It seems that he's never seen the sea before. At first, he just looked at it and made do with rolling on something unspeakable in the seaweed. But he soon got the hang of it, and was swimming and bouncing about in the water, chasing with other dogs and digging in the sand.
At one point, he found a large rock and was determined to take it away. Trouble is, it was right at the edge of the waves, so every time he thought he'd got the rock, which would only just fit in his mouth, a wave would bury it in the sand. He stuck his head under the water and pulled it out.
He got the hang of camping immediately, and loved it. Sat on the grass, noseying.
He had a fantastic time.
When we got home, he was digging through his bed in the car and pulled out his pet rock. I had no idea he'd brought it home!
A day later, we set off for Muker, Swaledale. He came out of the car- complete with his rock. . He went paddling in the streams and running across the beautiful hay meadows, and really enjoyed rolling on his rock.
I wasn't particularly surprised that he insisted on bringing it back home again, and it's here, in my garden. He's very proud of his well travelled rock. It's now in my garden, along with a fine collection of other rocks and sticks he's brought home.
There's also a couple of photos of him swimming in the river Ribble, around 100 metres from my house, and also relaxing in the garden. In one photo of him swimming, he's with Mabel, who looks very like him, except Cracker has a pink nose.
Hopefully, he'll be going camping again very soon. Otherwise, he's been on numerous photography trips and countless walks.
Hopefully, you can see he's very happy and healthy. He's very popular, despite his ball thieving, and people love his happy and easy going nature."
