Keeping it real ππ
Social media can sometimes make it look like every cat sits calmly on the grooming table, loves getting groomed and pampered, then poses beautifully for their after photo π
And while I have lots of cats who smash their grooming appointments, there are plenty of stories you donβt see on my page!
- Some cats run and hide before Iβve even got my grooming tools out.
- Some hiss, growl, swipe , scream, spit and try to bite.
- Some cats timer is up before the groom is complete so we stop
- Some cats need help from their vet, including medication, to get them through
- And some cats are too frightened or stressed for grooming to be carried out safely
If your cat is one of those cats, you are definitely not alone. β€οΈ
It can feel like everyone elseβs cat is perfectly behaved except yours.
Trust me β they arenβt! π
Cats are unique (interpret this as you wish!)
And sometimesβ¦ there isnβt an after photo. There is just a very determined cat under the sofa inviting me to leave ππΎ
