In this hot weather my walks are adjusted to keep your pups safe. On hot days I’ll drive to a sheltered place like the woods for example, we’ll have lots of water breaks and I’ll monitor them closely and adjust the time if needed. For really hot heat wave days, sometimes it’s kinder and safer to leave your dogs at home so if we have a walk booked in I’ll swap this for a home drop in visit where I can let them out to the toilet and ensure they’re happy and keeping cool at home.

Please always check the temperature of the concrete on the back of your hand before walking your dogs, if it’s hot for your hands, it’s too hot for their paws.
