Last weekend Sophie got to spend her day with this lil Diva Rogue💖she is the newest member of the Pawz Paradise pack🐾

This little queen loves a cuddle and hates getting wet🤣. We got soaked on our walk and even though I towel dried her!! She had to dry her own face like the queen she is👑

Last weekend, Julie had the pleasure of looking after lovely little miss Marnie, who is shy but very affectionate pup who is full of beans. She loves playing with her toys or chasing her shadow🤣. Julie thoroughly enjoyed her time with her, and she can’t wait for next time.

FLASHING COLLARS: A WARNING. Every year, as the evenings get longer and darker for those of us in the northern hemisphere, we warn people using illuminated dog collars never to put them on FLASHING mode. This is because, on a sensory level, the flashing light can not only be incredibly stressful and unpleasant for many collies, but may even trigger epilepsy in more susceptible dogs. So always put them on STILL mode instead, when you take them out for those darker walks. Or use other means to make both yourself and your dog more visible.

We were discussing SAND IMPACTION on last weekend's course so i thought I;d do a post to explain the signs to look for.
We also discussed types of balls ... tennis balls are abrasive on dogs teeth, they absorb water & sand sticks easily. chuck-it type balls are smooth on the exterior & don;t absorb water so would be a better choice.
As with everything moderation is key and do your own risk assessment.

Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of looking after Duke – who might just be the biggest toddler I’ve ever met! 🐾💙
He’s full of energy and always ready to play. Whether it was walk time or nap time, Duke kept me smiling the whole way through.
Always happy to have him again!🐶🐶💙
