Thought we’d brighten up your Saturday by sharing some ‘big yellow bag’ adoption day posts. Dave, Elton and Freddie celebrated their adoption gotcha’ days and are now living happily in their forever homes. 💛🐶💛

🐾 Dave 🐾 the eight-year-old Frenchie spent 59 days with us while our fab vet team helped him out with his medical care. It was perfect that he could live in a foster home during his stay and was described as, “A sweet little chap with a character you’ll fall in love with.” Dave has gone to live with a loving family with another dog.

🐾 Two-year-old 🐾 Elton 🐾 the St Bernard spent 20 days in our care and lived in a foster home before he landed on his paws with his loving family who were looking for a “large dog in need of cuddles.”

🐾 Freddie 🐾 a one-year-old Collie cross Springer Spaniel was looking for a fun and active home where he could receive plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation. He spent 18 days in our care. He was adopted to a family who love to spend time on Dartmoor and have plenty of time and patience to continue helping Freddie with his training.

Jed is doing brilliantly sharing his foster home with another dog. 🐶💛🐶

🐾 He is an 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving home where he would benefit from living with another dog.

🐾 Jed is often happy to chill out in your presence, potter about the garden with you, or lay stretched out in the same room as you. Jed will initiate a fuss and affection when he is ready and during that time, he adores having his very soft ears stroked.

🐾 Jed sometimes enjoys a game of fetch with you, he likes squeaky toys, and he is quite fussy with his treats.

Blue is a two-year-old German Shepherd looking for a quiet and loving home.
💛🐶💛

🐾 Gorgeous Blue whose nickname is Bluey, is sweet but nervous. He is devoted and loyal to his people. Blue is happiest when he is curled up next to you on the sofa. He enjoys a fuss and a snuggle with his trusted people.

🐾 He loves treats including Bonios and sweet potato. His quirks include, ‘if you open the freezer, he expects an ice-cube!’

🐾 He prefers his walks in quieter locations where he can relax and take in lots of sniffs. He enjoys a paddle in shallow water. He is happy to meet up and socialise with familiar dogs and familiar people and roam about off his lead with his doggy pals.

🐾 Blue enjoys playing with toys, he likes soft toys, and a game of fetch and tug.

Reggie is a well-rounded, two-year-old, bouncy, playful, and fun Lab. 💛🐶💛

🐾 He knows how to have a good time, and he’d love you to join him in the action. How about a game of fetch? Reggie loves toy play, he likes a game of tuggy, and to splash about in water. He loves to do zoomies.

🐾 When it’s time for a walk Reggie is excited to go on a hike. He enjoys treks through fields, beaches, and woodlands. He likes to meet and greet other dogs and people along the way and will happily join you in the pub garden for a spot of lunch.

🐾 Reggie knows many tricks for a nice, tasty treat reward. He knows a sit, paw, down, spin, and settle. He knows a drop and would much prefer to exchange that toy he loves for another toy or a treat. His all-time favourite treats are chicken and salmon.

🐾 When the fun is complete and it’s time to relax Reggie adores a fuss and a snuggle with his humans on the sofa or joining them in the bed. Reggie is a happy boy full of love and fun!

Badger the absolute stunner is on our website looking for a loving home.
💛🐶💛

🐾 He’s a four-year-old Collie cross Angolan Shepherd. Badger has lots of love to give to the people he trusts. He loves snuggles and adores trying to fit on his person’s lap on the sofa. He sleeps in his person’s bedroom. He has a big comfort blanket, and he is sure to make you smile as he drags it around the house.

🐾 Badger is motivated by food which is ideal for focus. He knows a bag of tricks including a sit, stay, settle, and down. Badger enjoys toy play, chasing after a ball, and soft toys. He enjoys going for long walks and he does well in open rural areas. Some of his favourite locations are a quiet beach, Dartmoor and Exmoor. He likes to take dips in the stream, and he does not mind being towel dried.

She’s snuggly, she’s fun, she’s playful. Her name is Kali and you can find her on our website looking for a home. 💛🐶💛

🐾 Kali is a lovely three-year-old Mastiff cross who is a joy to spend time with. She is a big fan of treats and will happily work for tasty rewards!

🐾 She loves her toys and particularly enjoys a game of fetch. Kali has a good response to her name and already knows how to sit, so she has a great foundation for continuing her training with her new family.

🐾 Kali enjoys spending time with other dogs and likes walking alongside them.

🐾 Once Kali gets to know you, she is a real cuddle bug. She loves a good snuggle and enjoys a relaxing face massage, and if you're offering belly rubs, she'll happily accept those too!

Billy is a ten-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog cross Collie looking for a loving home. 💛🐶💛

🐾 Billy is a big, young, and bouncy dog full of energy and fun. He would love to join you on a hike and have long, sniffy walks in nature. Generally, he walks nicely on his lead, and he can be strong at times when something of interest catches his eye or nose, like another dog to meet and greet, or a cat.

🐾 Billy would best suit quiet, rural walks initially and then when he is happy, you can build up to busier locations.

🐾 Billy loves the attention; he is affectionate and adores a fuss. Billy knows a ‘sit’ so far and would enjoy and benefit from learning his basic training.

🐾 He could potentially share his home with another dog, has experience around cats and livestock. He has never lived in a house before so this will be a brand-new world for him. He will need his adopters to help him build confidence in new environments and with new situations.

🐾 He has excellent history around children, could share his home with another dog of similar breed, and he has good history with living with a cat.

🐾 He loves to play with his toys, and he will need robust toys to play with. He enjoys a treat or two and he may show off his tricks, he knows a sit, paw, and down. He adores a fuss, he is loving and affectionate, and he builds strong bonds with his family.
