It’s very hot again meaning an early start for the dogs I can walk, then checking in and playing with clients during the day to ensure they are cool, have water and have the company they need during their day.

Back out on a walk with a weekend client and those sticky seed pods and grass seeds from foxtail, spear grass and barley grass were a plenty.

I highly recommend this low cost comb with two differently spaced teeth made fast work of ensuring dogs were clear of these potentially hazardous barbed seeds.

What a week! Astonishing temperatures meaning flexibility, adaptation and adjustment to keep all clients safe, unstressed and looked after.

Some cancellations, some walking much much earlier, some check-ins with fresh water, checking fans are working and enrichment.

Well done to all four paw parents for their efforts in this last week!

It will be cooler next week but still mid twenties so let’s continue to keep our four paw pals safe.
