Last of the summer baby siblings (brothers from litter of 4), went to their forever home yesterday. We will miss the little monkeys, but they have a fabulous new home and hoomans to look out for them. Thank you teresa and also for your generous donation that will certainly be useful for the hogs 🦔❤️😘 now on to autumn juveniles.....🙈🤣🦔❤️

Good guidance, if you need advice on a hog you are concerned about, do call. We have lots of autumn juveniles out and about at the moment. The sooner one in trouble gets help the higher chance of it surviving 🦔❤️

Hedgehogs can and like climbing, they are very nosey by nature. During the summer the babies have garden time in the enclosed garden whilst being cleaned out. Look at them queuing for their turn on the obstacle course and climbing the ivy. They climb on top of each other for a leg up too!!

Little rosie is at last gaining weight following worming medication. She loves a climb whilst being cleaned out. Look at that furry tummy 😍 🦔 keep gaining weight little one, we are here for you every step of the way

Meet rosie, my first autumn juvenile 🦔 rosie was found out yesterday during the day, covered in fleas and ticks. I have never seen so many bless her. So her visitors were sorted, subcut fluids and a cosy bed along with a selection of food. I will update when i can 🙂🦔

I have been rubbish about posting on my page....sorry. its all been about babies, some got up to release weight and were able to go back to their finders which is great. Now fattening up the last 4 so they can go back, nearly there but been slow weight gains this year. They have all been a joy to see grow and develop their skills to survive in the wild. More
updates soon.....

This big boy came in last night, weighing 1473g, he is huge. I put him in the garden to assess his walking and he went off like husain bolt. He was removed by the finder as the resident dog kept pestering him. I have a home lined up for him already, he is having a bath today as caked in mud.

So sad, please take precautions 🦔❤️

Earlier this week, I had a call about a hedgehog that was stuck down a hole. The hedgehog had been left there for over 48hrs sadly. Thanks to Bob who volunteered to go and rescue the hedgehog. She was very tired, cold and dehydrated upon arrival but is now on the mend.
Please cover any drains or holes left open. Hedgehogs can easily fall into them when they’re out at night and they won’t be able to climb back up.
