🐶 WOULD ANYONE BE INTERESTED? 🐶
I’m thinking about running a relaxed, in-salon grooming demonstration and would love to know if it’s something you’d enjoy!
Aimed towards dog owners not groomers, the idea would be to groom a Cavapoo (the same style I use for most poodle crosses), talking you through the entire process from start to finish. We’d cover everything from the prep work, bathing, drying and welfare considerations, right through to the haircut itself.
I’d also do one side as a normal pet salon groom and the other side as I would for a grooming competition, so you can see the differences and what goes into achieving each finish.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions too, whether it’s about:
🐾 Keeping on top of brushing at home
🐾 Looking after your dog’s coat between appointments
🐾 Why groomers do certain things
🐾 Grooming techniques, products or equipment
🐾 Or anything else you’ve ever wanted to ask a groomer!
Everyone would be welcome, whether you’re one of my clients or your dog goes to another groomer. My aim is simply to help owners better understand grooming and make life easier for both you and your dog.
I’m not sure I’d be able to run it completely free, but I’d keep it to no more than £5 per person, and I’d provide drinks and a few snacks too☕🍰
