Hinton in the Hedges Secure Dog Walking Field We are very pleased to have recently created a 6' fenced a two-acre secure grass field area, solely for dog walking.

The field in Hinton-in-the-hedges is suitable for a walk, dog training, and general recall training.

🚧⛔️ ROAD UPDATE 11.02.2026⛔️🚧

From MONDAY 16th FEB. the ONLY ACCESS to the field will be from the A34 Evenley roundabout or via the Charlton Evenley road.

At the Croughton crossroads take the turn to Hinton. Follow the road and field will be on your left before you reach the village.

There is no access from the A422 through the village from Monday 16th.

Please allow extra travel time if possible.

Hello everyone
From Monday January 19th There will only be accesss 🚙 to the dog field 🐶🐕 from the A422 Brackley Bypass and through the Village of Hinton in the Hedges.

For any new members, after the Hill leaving the village the field will be on your right hand side.

🐶 WARNING - MAJOR ROAD WORKS - PLANNED FROM 25th NOVEMBER 2025 FOR 10 WEEKS 🐶

Good morning members - I hope you’re enjoying this sunny Tuesday in the field.

We have had some communication/news about the access to the dog this month, from Tuesday 25th and for the next 10weeks, from National Grid.
Initially there will be no access through Hinton in the Hedges, from Tuesday 25th.

At some point there will be no access from the Evenly/Croughton/Charlton road crossroads.

During this time please allow extra travel time for your bookings and thanks in advance for your help and patience.

We will try and update this page and our website as and when we receive news. 🐾🐾

Your confirmation emails have been updated as a little reminder too.

There will be no access through the village of Hinton in the Hedges FROM 25.11.2025

The only access from this date will be from the A43 Evenley roundabout, signposted Charlton.
Take the first right turn to Hinton-in-the Hedges. The field is the third turn on the left.

Apologies for anyone who has been affected by the road closure’s, some have been a surprise to us too.
Thankyou for your patience while the Hinton road was closed last week.

We do know that the Evenley roundabout is closed next weekend March 22nd/23rd until 9 am

There is a diversion in place. Our advise would be to reach the field via Evenley, Croughton or Charlton direction between the 3rd-10th of March. Thanks for your patience during this time 🐶😌
