I hope everybody caught Longshaw today on The Farmers' Country Showdown on BBC1, following Stuart Wilkinson and Jim Scriven as they battled it out this summer to get through to the prestigious Longshaw Championship. If you didn't catch it, it is available on BBC iPlayer now (Series 5 Episode 4). Made for great watching, and we can't wait for next years trials. Hope we can see you all there.

After much deliberation it has been decided to postpone the Bolton Cup and novice trial that was to held next Sunday 1st November at North Lees, Hathersage due to the travel and Covid restrictions.

We still hope to have the trials either later in the year or possibly in the New Year.

The Longshaw Bolton Beginners Cup & Novice Trial will be held this year on Sunday 1st November. Hosted by Nick Denniff it will be held at North Lees Hall Farm, Birley Lane, Hathersage , S32 1DY with a 10am start. Tel: 07972 866149. Enter on the field.

"The Bolton Cup is for anyone, where neither the handler, or the dog, have won anything, other than beginner, nursery or novice prizes."

There will be a separate Novice class.

This date also coincides with Hopes 2nd Interclub Trial, so with just 6 miles between the two you get the opportunity of 2 trials in one day 🐾🐾🐑

Covid-19 UPDATE FOR 2020 TRIALS

In order to guarantee that this years event can follow Government Safety Guidelines, access to the site will be restricted to Competitors, Members, Patrons and Life Members associated with the event.
We greatly value the support of the public and are very sorry that you will not be allowed onto the trial field this year but sincerely hope to be able to welcome you back in 2021.
