⭐️ Meet Starbuck ⭐️

On the courtesy visit, Starbuck's mummy said she was a shy girl, who could take a little time to warm up to people.

Well, first visit, I thought Starbuck's Mum & Dad had a different cat, as this little lady was not shy with Auntie Lyds at all!

Fast forward to visit 3 (day 2), I was granted the ultimate privilege of giving belly rubs!

For those who dont know, most female kitty's, dont allow anyone (sometimes not even their human parents) access to their belly, as this is considered their most sensitive & vulnerable area. So it really is a privilege & sign of trust when they do!

A little patience goes a long way 😻

Meet Loki... unlike his sisters, Pingee, Moo & Nala who basically loved Auntie Lyds from visit number 1, Loki has taken a few extra days.
This is completely normal.🩷
Not all cats have the confidence to love new people straight away.
Some cats, need a little patience & a lot of love before they decide to accept you.
The last few days, Loki has quietly watched from the other side of the room as Pingee & Moo had lots of loves & playtime. He would come & have a little sniff of me, but thats it.
I could tell he's been dying to play though & then yesterday he finally did. Even better, today, he strutted down the stairs confidently to greet me, had his first proper loves from me & even jumped on the worktop demanding more loves, as I was sorting the food!

Sometimes, cats need patience...and thats ok.
But boy is it worth it when they finally decide to trust you! 🩷
