Day 1 of time off: Woke up automatically at feeding time, prepared to dodged a cat or trip over a dog... only to realize there's nobody here! 😂

I’m so used to wet noses, morning purrs, and the sound of little paws on the floor that the quiet feels completely unnatural after such a busy stretch of sitting!

Time to relax, even if I still catch myself checking under the table for a furry face or keep looking down for a shadow. ☕️🐾♥️

It has been such a pleasure looking after these two sweet souls this week!

Eevee and Beastie were absolute superstars (even while executing their full lazy-cat heatwave routines), and I’m going to miss them! 🐾❤️

P.S. I am very proud to report that 100% of all cats are fully accounted for! Going from pampered indoor royals to sudden outdoor explorers was a bit of a nail-biter for my stress levels, but everyone is safe, sound, and back on their favorite cool tiles. 😹🧊

Wishing them both all the treats, cuddles, and shade until next time!

The heat is no joke right now, and our local wildlife needs a little extra help! ☀️🐾

If you have a garden, balcony, or doorstep, please put out a shallow dish of fresh, clean water. Birds, hedgehogs, bees, and foxes are all struggling to find wate in this weather.

A few quick tips:
* Add a few pebbles or small stones in shallow bowls so bees, butterflies, and insects can drink safely without drowning.
* Keep it in the shade so the water doesn't heat up or evaporate too quickly.
* Refill and rinse daily to keep it fresh and clean.

It takes two minutes, but it makes a world of difference for our little wild neighbors! 🐦🦔🐝♥️

Happy 16th Birthday to my sweet foster boy, Teddy! 🥳🐾

Sixteen years young today! Having this little guy by my side during COVID made those strange, uncertain times so much brighter—he kept me smiling, kept me grounded, and truly got me through it with that wonderful terrier spirit of his.
He might be a distinguished senior gent now, but he’s still full of charm and loved beyond measure by his new pawrent ♥️♥️♥️.

Heatwave number four is here, but Beastie, Eevee, and I are completely unfazed! ☀️😼🔥

We have officially entered full lazy-cat mode—sprawled out on the coolest tiles in the house, catching the breeze, and mastering the art of doing absolutely nothing. Beats melting outside!

Saying goodbye is always hard, especially after spending 5 weeks together—they've been complete sweethearts the whole time. It was so lovely spending these days with them, and it made my heart so happy to see them feeling better and recovering so well every day.❤️
