The wagging tails, excited faces and zoomies have been next level this week! 😍 It’s safe to say the Bonnie Barkers gang have been happy to have me back!

🐾 Did you know my girlfriend Annabel is a dog groomer? ✂️🐶

She’s been grooming for 10 years and works from Tartan Tails. Just look at this transformation on Wilbur! 😍❤️

🐾✨ Wilbur’s before & after! ✨🐾

What a transformation! 🥰 Wilbur was beautifully groomed by Annabel at Tartan Tails, and we think he looks absolutely adorable! ❤️🐶

Who else loves a good before & after? ✂️✨

🐾 3 things I never leave for a dog walk without! 🐾

After spending most of my days out walking dogs, there are a few things that permanently live in the Bonnie Barkers kit! 😂

💩 Poo bags — because you can never have too many!

💧 Water — especially when we’re out exploring for longer.

🩹 A first-aid kit — hopefully I never need it, but it’s always better to be prepared. I’m also pet first-aid trained, so I like knowing I’m prepared if something unexpected happens.

And of course… plenty of treats! 🐶😂❤️

What would you add to the list? 👇🐾

🐾 Meet some of the Bonnie Barkers crew! 🐾

One of the best things about my job is getting to spend my days with so many different personalities, characters and waggy tails! 🐶❤️

From the energetic ones who are ready to run from the second they get out the car, to the ones who would happily spend the whole walk sniffing absolutely everything 😂🐕

Every dog is different, and that’s what makes the job so rewarding. Whether they’re looking for a fun group adventure, prefer a quieter solo walk, or need a little extra space and patience, I always try to make sure their walks are suited to them. 🐾

Here are just a few of the faces who have been out enjoying some Bonnie Barkers adventures recently! 🌳🐶

Can you spot your favourite? 👀❤️

Bonnie Barkers HQ is having a little day off today! 🚗💨

My car is finally getting its new windscreen fitted after the recent crack decided to turn into a full-blown drama 😂

Honestly, this car has been an absolute nightmare lately… I’m starting to think it enjoys keeping me on my toes! 😂🚗

But thankfully, the two most important passengers are still looking happy! 🐶🐶❤️

Back to the dogs tomorrow and ready for another busy week of walks! 🐾

🐾 Your dog deserves more than a quick lap around the block…

Some dogs don’t just need exercise—they need adventure, enrichment, and the chance to be a dog.

At Bonnie Barkers, every walk is packed with sniffing, exploring, playing, and making new furry friends. Watching their tails wag from start to finish is the best part of my day.

Because a tired dog is a happy dog… and a happy dog means a happy owner too.

🎂🐾 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE CEO OF BONNIE BARKERS 🐾🎂

Nora turns another year older today, although she insists she’s still a puppy when it comes to getting treats and avoiding recalls.

As founder, managing director, head of quality control, treat inspector and professional sofa tester, Nora would like to thank all of her loyal followers for their continued support.

Her demands for the day include:
🐾 Unlimited treats
🐾 Extra belly rubs
🐾 A birthday walk
🐾 No sharing of snacks
🐾 Absolutely no discussion about her age

Without Nora, Bonnie Barkers probably wouldn’t exist – although productivity would definitely be higher!

Please wish the birthday girl a happy birthday in the comments before she reports us all to the treat union. 🎉🎂🐶

☀️ HOT WEATHER UPDATE ☀️

With temperatures expected to reach around 28°C later this week, the safety and welfare of the dogs in our care will always come first.

During periods of extreme heat, some afternoon walks may be shortened, moved to earlier times where possible, or replaced with home visits. These visits still include toilet breaks, fresh water, enrichment, playtime, cuddles and plenty of attention, all while keeping dogs safe and comfortable.

As dog owners, we all love seeing our dogs out enjoying themselves, but it’s important to remember that no dog has ever come to harm from missing a walk, while heatstroke can become serious very quickly.

Every decision made this week will be based on what’s best for each individual dog. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your understanding and support.

Stay cool everyone! 🐾☀️
