🐟 Adele’s Pond — Bromley | Progress Update 💧

Another stage completed on Adele’s pond in Bromley, and we’re really pleased with how this installation has come together.

The Colbie Koi Tray is now fully installed, and we’ve finally got the 110W UVC installation all buttoned up.

A huge thank you to Colbie Koi for supplying the tray and to CWD Sandbach for supplying the pond. The client is absolutely over the moon with the finished setup! 🙌

The brief was to create a good-looking blade return without introducing the additional height of a Bakki Shower. The client didn’t want a Bakki Shower, and I wasn’t keen on the extra height either, so the Colbie Koi Tray proved to be the perfect solution.

It gives us the blade return the client wanted, while also providing additional space for biological media — making it both a feature and a functional part of the filtration system.

Filtration upgrade this week.

This pond needed some thought as the client didn't want the filtration on display so to install the Filtoclear in hidden location we diamond drilled the wall and brought the pipework through the side of the pond and dug a trench and laid a pressure pipe under the garden to a flower bed hidden Filtration under a rock cap and then repaired the fibreglass and install pump and pipework work checked everything's all working just got to apply gel coat on Friday and then we can fill it up.

Just waiting on a custom shower from Koi
And glass jump guards from CWD Sandbach LTD.
Then where be finishing it off with a flat roof.

This morning started with an urgent call from a worried client whose air pump had suddenly failed. Within just one hour of receiving the call, we were on site with a brand-new replacement pump.

The old unit was removed, the new air pump installed, and the pond's vital aeration restored quickly and efficiently. 💨🐟

For the last few days we have been getting to the bottom of an issue with some blocked bottom drains due to the blanket w**d issue and now got the drains working and will be refilling it next week.
