Beautiful Bailey’s Emmi-Pet journey 🪥

Bailey has been coming to me regularly for her Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning, and she’s been making fantastic progress 🦷

When we first started, Bailey had quite a build-up of tartar, so we’ve been working away at it gradually. As you can see from her before and after pictures, we’re making a real difference.

One thing I always like to explain is that Emmi-Pet isn’t a “one session fixes all” treatment. It can take multiple sessions, especially where there is an established build-up of tartar. Every dog is different, and we work at a pace that is comfortable for them.

Emmi-Pet uses ultrasonic technology to help clean the teeth and support good oral hygiene, helping to break down and remove plaque and tartar build-up, while also helping to care for the gums. Regular sessions can help maintain a healthier mouth and keep those pearly whites looking their best.

Plus, it’s not just what we do in the salon… Bailey’s amazing pawrent is also helping with her dental care at home by using Orozyme, which is a brilliant addition to her routine

We also make sure we work on those all-important back teeth too… although getting a decent photo of those is another story 😂

There’s been some serious puppy love in the salon this week 🐶

Brother and sister Buddy & Dolly came in for their very first puppy grooms. They took everything in their stride, ruling the roost, and after all the excitement, they were more than happy to chill out and catch a few Zzz’s 😴

Then there was Ace who totally ACED his first puppy groom too. He was an absolute natural, wasn’t phased by a thing, and took it all in his stride like a seasoned pro 💪🏽

Three gorgeous puppies, three brilliant first experiences, and hopefully the start of many more happy visits to the salon 🐾

Two more precious pooches joined the Ivy’s Pampered Pooches family yesterday 🐾

First up was beautiful Tilly who kept me on my toes 🤣 Her impressive escape attempts from the body noose gave me a proper workout, but once she’d finished showing off her acrobatics, she happily stretched out in the sunshine and let me trim her nails while she relaxed. Safe to say she earned that chill-out time ☀️🐶

Then there was gorgeous Chester, who was a star pupil 🌟 Calm, relaxed and such a pleasure to groom from start to finish. He made the whole groom an absolute dream 💛

Thank you both for visiting. I can’t wait to see you again for your next pamper 🛁🫧✂️

How stunning is this girl 🐶 Those gorgeous long ears are definitely her best feature - even if they do take almost as long to dry as the rest of the groom 😂💨

Maisie after realising a full groom involves standing up 😂💤

She flopped herself down, rested her little chin, and politely informed me she was finished for the day, but unfortunately, I wasn’t 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

She was an absolute superstar really, just a little tired from all the pampering. After a few well-earned cuddles and plenty of encouragement, she was back on her feet and left looking beautiful 🐶

Summer popped in this evening for her much needed de-shed, and just look at the amount of coat that came out 🤯🐾

This isn’t just satisfying to do and look at – removing all that loose undercoat helps:

✨ Reduce shedding around the house
✨ Improve air circulation to the skin
✨ Prevent matting
✨ Keep your dog cooler and more comfortable during the warmer months
✨ Leave the coat looking healthier and shinier

I think Summer is feeling a few pounds lighter after that 🐶

Gunner was back yesterday, with his own unique way of staying cool during his groom 🤣

Every visit he insists on drinking straight from the shower head while I’m washing him. Apparently bowls are overrated 🚿🐶💧

☀️ Hot Weather Notice ☀️

With the temperatures set to rise this week, I just wanted to reassure everyone that your dogs’ comfort and safety are my top priority!

The salon is situated in a lovely cool area and is fully equipped with air conditioning, so your pooches can stay comfortable throughout their pamper. They’ll also have constant access to fresh, cool water and plenty of opportunities to relax if needed 🐶💦

However, I completely understand if you’re concerned about travelling in the heat. If you would prefer to reschedule your appointment to a cooler day, please just send me a message and I’ll try my very best to accommodate this.
