Loose lead walking is so important for so many reasons. Owners struggle with it and I understand why. So then they resort to either allowing the dog to pull and having their shoulder pulled out of its socket or those head halti things that every dog looks miserable in.

I’m running a 5 Day Loose Lead & Recall Bootcamp in October.

5 consecutive days, 60–90 minutes a day, working in real parks and real-life environments — not just standing in a field practising sits.

The aim is simple:

- Walk nicely on a loose lead
-Come back when called
- Build the skills to enjoy more freedom

5 day loose lead and recall bootcamp

Commit to 1 session a day with me for 5 days in a row and we will change your dog/puppies behaviour

This isn’t 6 weeks in a church hall doing sits, this is training the things that actually matter in the places that they will happen.

This is on offer at £150 at the moment. It won’t be forever though as that is FAR too cheap for a week with a qualified behaviourist.

When testing a dog’s suitability for family life, placing a hot wheels track over the dogs tail and seeing how they react is an innovative and genius idea accidentally created by my little boy.

Golden retrievers are great family dogs but like any dog if they aren’t socialised and looked after properly it can go the other way.

Gooses owners have done a great job with him though and he’s a well rounded, sociable polar bear who will even tolerate being part of a race track if that’s the job that needs doing.
