September has arrived, and we’ve finally had some rain! 🌧️🐾

After weeks of dry, dusty walks, the dogs and the LNC team have been absolutely loving the cooler weather, fresh smells and muddy adventures. It’s made for another brilliant week of behaviour-led group walks, structured outings and plenty of happy faces across Harrow, Hillingdon and the surrounding areas. Time to get those towels at the ready! 😂

We’ve also welcomed some wonderful new students to LNC Canine Club, who we’ll be introducing properly over the next few weeks. We can’t wait for you to meet them and follow their progress as they build confidence, develop new skills and settle into the club.

Meet Rex, our gorgeous Saluki cross with the highlights women pay hundreds for at the salon! 💁🏼‍♀️🐾

This sweet boy has come equipped with fabulous hair, plenty of charm and a serious prey drive. Squirrels? VERY interesting. Listening when there’s a squirrel nearby? That’s something we’re working on! 🐿️👀

We’re building his neutrality and focus around distractions, alongside loose lead walking and recall. The goal is to help Rex join a suitable walking group, with carefully matched pals who bring out the best in him, at a pace that suits his needs.

He’s already making lovely progress, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. Welcome to the club, handsome! 🤎

The children are heading back to school and September tends to reset the dog’s diary at the same time.

Summer can mean more people around the house, different mornings and days that do not follow the usual working-week pattern.

Then September arrives and suddenly somebody needs to work out what the dog is doing on a Tuesday lunchtime again.

Dogs tend to cope better when their day remains predictable, which is why we plan our regular walking and daycare around routine and the individual dog rather than treating each booking as an isolated hour out of the house.

Our September dog walking and daycare diaries across Harrow, Hillingdon and surrounding areas are now being organised.

Think of it as their version of going back to dog school.
They have their regular days, familiar handlers and a routine built around what they are capable of. Some dogs are comfortable within an appropriate group. Others begin with more individual support and some benefit from training alongside their care.

We make those decisions once we understand the dog.

If school going back means your household routine is about to change and you still need to arrange regular dog walking or daycare for September, complete the LNC Fit Assessment through the link in our bio.
If you already know which weekdays you need, include them on the form so we can look at current route availability.

This week’s fashion forecast: shorts and wellies 🌦️ The heavens opened on us this week, and we weren’t mad about it! Soggy dog trainers, happy dogs, and a much needed dance in the rain 💃🐾

Rain, snow, or flood warnings, you know LNC will be out there! Even the wildest forecast can’t shake our structure.

Have an amazing bank holiday weekend, and we will catch you all next week! (bring a towel) 😅🤍

From “we could never take our dog to a pub” to calm, settled and making us incredibly proud 🥹🐾

This weekend, our Neutrality Club took on a real-life pub environment and we witnessed some fantastic breakthroughs from dogs and owners who once never dreamed moments like this would be possible.

That’s exactly what Neutrality Club is about. These supportive, real-world dog training sessions help you and your dog build confidence, strengthen your relationship and practise calm behaviour around everyday distractions, without the pressure of greetings or forced interactions.

Alongside a community of like-minded owners, we work on skills that genuinely matter beyond the training field, from navigating busy public spaces and passing other dogs to settling calmly in cafés, pubs and local environments.

Our next Neutrality Club sessions are:

🐾 Sunday 13th September 2026 with Cass
🐾 Saturday 26th September 2026 with Catherine

Want to join us? Send us a DM with the word NEUTRALITY and we’ll add you to our dedicated group chat, where you’ll find the full session details and booking information.

Not quite ready for a group environment yet? That’s completely okay. Download our free Calm Walks Checklist through the link in our bio for practical steps you can begin using on your walks today.

Real environments. Supportive owners. Progress that carries into everyday life. ❤️

Another week of walks, and finally… a little relief! ☁️🌧️ The weather’s been a little less boiling, with a proper touch of rain that we HAPPILY soaked up, because who knows when we’ll see it again!

As always, the dogs have been amazing! It’s a good reminder of what the LNC way is really about 💪

Every walk and every session is built around what each dog needs that day: calm engagement, focus work, neutrality around distractions, or just a slower, sniffier pace. That’s the structure behind the scenes that makes the “easy” moments possible.

Speaking of structure… Neutrality Club is on tomorrow at The Whittington, Pinner! There’s still time to grab your space if you’d like to join us 🍺🙌

🐾 Meet Kai

Kai’s mum has already invested an incredible amount of time and effort into his training, building the skills and foundations he needs to navigate the world confidently. Now that he’s walking with LNC Canine Club, our role is to maintain that hard work, reinforce his existing training and ensure his walks continue to support the expectations he has at home.

Like many Cane Corsos, Kai is intelligent, strong-minded and occasionally rather selective about when he feels like joining in 😂 Rather than simply labelling him as “stubborn”, we’ll be focusing on what motivates him, strengthening our relationship and giving him meaningful reasons to engage with us.

Through consistent, behaviour-led dog walks, we’ll be working on:

🐾 Building motivation and engagement
🐾 Developing a strong, trusting relationship
🐾 Reinforcing his existing training and boundaries
🐾 Encouraging thoughtful choices and responsiveness
🐾 Creating structured, fulfilling walks that meet his individual needs

This is exactly what LNC Canine Club is about: care that complements your dog’s training instead of allowing it to unravel between sessions. Every dog is treated as an individual, with their breed, personality, existing skills and long-term development considered on every walk.

We’re so excited to have joined Kai’s care team and can’t wait to watch our relationship with this gorgeous boy continue to grow 🖤

Now for the important question… who’s ready for some Kai cuddles? 🙋🏽‍♀️ Tell us below 👇🏼

Some dogs thrive in carefully matched groups.

Some dogs need individual care.

A solo walk can be the right choice for dogs who need more space, lower stimulation, closer handling or a route designed around their current stage.

That does not make the dog difficult. It means together we’re paying attention.

Our Club looks at solo walks and uses them thoughtfully. They can support dogs who are building confidence, recovering from overwhelm, working through behaviour challenges or simply better suited to one-to-one care.

The aim is always the same: a safer, calmer, more beneficial experience for the dog.

In our eyes, good care means choosing the right setup.

Solo walks can be requested and built into memberships with our club. Enquire via the Fit Assessment link in our bio.
