Neutrality is one of the most useful things a dog can learn.

It means helping them move through the world without feeling the need to react, rush over, bark, pull, fixate or say hello to every dog they see.

For many dogs, constant interaction is too much.

A calmer aim is learning to notice the world and keep going. To pass another dog with space. To recover after a distraction. To feel safer in everyday environments.

That is why neutrality is such an important part of how we work at LNC Canine Club.

It supports confidence and safety and it helps dogs and owners feel less tense on walks.

If your dog struggles around other dogs, people, traffic or busy environments, neutrality work may be a helpful part of their support.

Rain, sunshine, muddy paws and plenty of smiles… another fantastic week for the LNC Canine Club crew. 🐾

This week has been packed full of purposeful adventures focused on what truly matters to dogs: fulfilment, structure and learning. Across our walks we’ve been building confidence, practising neutrality around everyday distractions, developing impulse control and helping dogs make better decisions in the real world.

Whether it’s calmly holding a position for a group photo, exploring new environments, working through challenges, or simply enjoying the freedom to be a dog in a structured way, every walk is designed to add value to their lives.

The weather may not always have been on our side, but that certainly hasn’t stopped us. Through sunshine, showers and everything in between, these dogs have continued to show us just how capable they are when given clear guidance, appropriate fulfilment and consistent opportunities to succeed.

A very proud week of progress, and a lot of happy, fulfilled dogs. 🐕

🐾 Neutrality Club Returns – Saturday 20th June 🐾

Join Catherine for our next Neutrality Club session on Saturday 20th June at 10:00am.

Our Neutrality club is designed to help dogs develop calm, thoughtful engagement around real-world distractions. Whether your goal is improving focus, building confidence, strengthening obedience around other dogs, or simply learning how to navigate the world with more clarity and structure, these sessions are for you.

This isn’t about dogs greeting every dog they see. It’s about teaching them that they don’t need to.

We’ll be working on:
✔️ Calmness around other dogs
✔️ Loose lead walking under distraction
✔️ Engagement with handlers
✔️ Neutrality around people, wildlife and the environment
✔️ Real-world obedience and impulse control

Suitable for dogs at various stages of training, with exercises adapted where needed.

📅 Saturday 20th June 2026
⏰ 10:00am
📍 Location released to attendees in our private community group

Our next session after this will be led by Cass on Sunday 5th July.

Another week, another week of guided growth, real progress and plenty of happy dogs. 🐾

From structured group walks and confidence-building adventures to reinforcing calm behaviour around real-world distractions, our focus remains the same: helping dogs develop the skills they need to thrive both at home and out in the world.

Every walk is an opportunity to practise important life skills such as loose lead walking, recall, impulse control, engagement and neutrality around other dogs, people and everyday environmental distractions. These foundations don’t just create better walks. They create more confident dogs and more enjoyable lives for their owners.

We’re incredibly proud of every dog in our care and grateful to the wonderful owners who trust us to continue building on the hard work they put in at home.

And whilst we’re busy doing what we do best… we’ve also been working away behind the scenes on a few exciting additions that we can’t wait to share with you soon. 👀

Let’s just say there are some very exciting things coming to LNC Canine Club in the near future… watch this space.

Meet Nala & Poppy 🐾

These two lovely ladies are proof that consistent training, clear guidance and a committed owner can make an incredible difference.

Their mum, Martyna, has put so much hard work into their training and it really shows every time we head out together. We absolutely adore walking them, and one of our biggest responsibilities is making sure the progress they’ve worked so hard to achieve continues.

For us, structured dog walking is about so much more than exercise. It’s about adding value to a dog’s life through purposeful experiences that build confidence, clarity and good habits.

With Nala and Poppy, that means continuing to reinforce:
✔️ Loose lead walking around distractions
✔️ Reliable recall around distractions
✔️ Impulse control in exciting environments
✔️ Calm neutrality around people, dogs and everyday life
✔️ Appropriate social skills and play with suitable canine companions

They each bring their own wonderful personalities to the group, and watching them navigate the world with growing confidence is an absolute pleasure.

Martyna should be incredibly proud of what these girls have already achieved. We’re certainly proud to be part of their journey. ♥️

Neutrality Club 🐾

Our next two sessions are coming up soon and we would love to see some new faces:

📅 Sunday 7th June with Cassidy
📅 Saturday 20th June with Catherine

This is not just another training class. Neutrality Club is a space where there is no pressure, no chaos and no expectation for dogs to interact with one another. Instead every session is centred around something far more valuable. Building genuine calm, confidence and composure that actually transfers into your everyday life together.

We visit different local locations each month so your dog gets real, varied exposure to the world around them, in a way that feels safe and manageable. The exercises are practical, the progress is real and the environment is always warm and welcoming.

Whether you are navigating reactivity, working through nervousness or simply wanting to maintain what you have already built, there is a place for you here. And truthfully, the community that has grown around these sessions is something really special. Like minded owners, all working towards the same thing. Calmer dogs and walks that you genuinely enjoy. 🐕

Sessions are currently £20 per dog, rising to £25 from 1st July, so now is the best time to get started if you have been considering it.

Full details are inside our private community group. Drop us a DM and we will get you all the information you need. ❤️

Being part of LNC Canine Club means your dog is cared for with thought, consistency and attention to what they actually need.

For our club it means we get to know them properly.

Their personality. Their confidence levels. Their triggers. Their routine. The environments they cope well in and the ones that ask too much too soon.

It also means we work in partnership with owners.
Progress is much easier when everyone is working from the same page. That might mean keeping routines consistent, respecting boundaries, or understanding why a certain type of walk or group may suit your dog better than another.

Our Club has high standards, and those standards are there to protect the dogs, the handlers, the owners and the quality of care we are building.

If you’re looking for structured dog walking or behaviour-led support in Ruislip, Harrow, Pinner, North West London or nearby, you can find out more through the link in our bio.

Structured care does not mean making every walk strict or serious.

It means there is care and thought behind what we do.

For some dogs, that means a calmer route. For others, it means careful group matching, more space around other dogs, slower transitions, or a walk that gives them time to sniff and decompress.

We look at the whole dog, not just their energy level.

Are they settled? Are they coping? Are they learning to move through the world with more confidence? Do they come home calmer than they left?

That is the difference between simply exercising a dog and supporting their wellbeing.

At LNC Canine Club, structured dog walking and behaviour-led care sit together. The walk is part of the bigger picture.

If you’re unsure what your dog needs, the best place to start is through the LNC Fit assessment route in our bio so that we can find the right fit for you.

A little on the beginnings of LNC Walks, now LNC Canine Club.

This Club exists because I truly know how much trust it takes to hand your dog over to someone else.

When I started this work, I wanted to create the kind of care I would have wanted for my own dog. Care that felt calm, thoughtful and safe. Care where dogs were understood as individuals, not squeezed into whatever space was available that day or pushed into groups and environments that didn’t suit them.

That is still what guides LNC Canine Club now.

The name has changed, but the reason behind our work hasn’t.

We are here for dogs who need structure, confidence, neutrality and consistency. We’re also here for owners who want to understand their dog better and feel more supported along the way.

LNC Canine Club is our next chapter, and I’m so pleased to share it with you.
