🌿 DOG TRAINING AT CRAZY TAILS

I’m pleased to now be offering private dog training through Oak & Bramble, hosted at Crazy Tails Retreat.

🐾 In-Daycare Training — Monday to Thursday
If your dog is already booked into daycare, you can add a dedicated 1-to-1 training session during their day.

🌿 Private 1-to-1 Training — Fridays & selected weekend dates
These sessions are for you and your dog together, giving us time to look at what you’re struggling with, make a plan and give you practical training to continue at home.

Every session is tailored to the individual dog and what you’d like to achieve.

You’ll find Oak & Bramble cards in reception with my details, or contact Crazy Tails on the number below; and you’re always welcome to have a chat with me while you’re here.

🐾✨ Today’s Enrichment Activities! ✨🐾

Today we switched things up and gave the dogs two different enrichment activities to choose from — licky mats & puzzles! 🧩👅

Rather than giving every dog the same activity, we picked which one would suit them best based on what they usually enjoy. Some of our dogs love settling down with a licky mat, while others prefer getting their brains working and figuring out a puzzle! 🧠🐶

Licky mats are a great way to encourage calm behaviour, provide mental stimulation and keep those busy tongues entertained! 👅💤

Our puzzles encourage dogs to use their noses and problem-solving skills to work out how to get to the tasty rewards hidden inside. 🐕🧠

We love tailoring our enrichment to each individual dog and giving them activities they’re most likely to enjoy! ❤️🐾

👃🐾 Today’s Enrichment: Scent Walks! 🌿

A few photos and videos of some of the dogs who took part in today’s scent walk! 🐶💛

Today we decided to combine our walks and enrichment together to switch things up and give the dogs a different experience. Instead of simply walking, we encouraged them to slow down, sniff and explore their surroundings at their own pace.

Scent walks are a great way to provide mental stimulation, encourage natural foraging behaviours and allow dogs to use one of their most important senses — their nose! 👃 They can help build confidence, reduce stress and provide a really satisfying form of enrichment, often leaving dogs mentally tired as well as physically exercised.

Sometimes, the best enrichment is simply letting dogs be dogs and giving them time to sniff! 🐾🌿
