🐾 Mabel 🐾
Mabel the Cockapoo came in for her first groom with me 💕 She’s a two year old rescue and, unfortunately, had a very difficult start before finding her new home.
She really struggled with the grooming experience and became increasingly defensive, so for everyone’s safety we did need to use a muzzle for parts of the groom. Mum came back to help while we tackled her face, and although it wasn’t easy, we managed to get a reasonable finish without pushing Mabel too far.
Considering her past and how little grooming she may have experienced, it’s understandable that she was unsure of everything. Hopefully with patience, consistency and plenty of positive visits, we can slowly build her trust ❤️🐾
