Guisborough Cats, Rescue and Rehoming Guisborough Cats, Rescue and Rehoming is an independent cat rescue and rehoming service, based in Guisborough, North Yorkshire.

We rescue cats who are lost, without a home. We have cats sent to us from across the world, and try to rehome them locally.

We did a thing. This thing contains pictures of cats.

We wanted to show you all a bit more about the cats we rescue in a more structured way, so we created a websie, and Bio's for the fluffs looking for forever homes. We added some other information too.

🐾 A New Name. The Same Mission. The Same Cat Hair. 🐾

You may know me as The Guisborough Crazy Cat Lady.

You may know us as Blind Foster Babies.

But the truth is, without Guisborough – its people, its kindness, and its incredible community – none of this would have been possible.

So, it felt right that our rescue should proudly wear the town's name.

Today, we're delighted to introduce...

❤️ Guisborough Cats, Rescue & Rehoming ❤️

Don't worry – we've not been replaced by sensible people. It's still the same rescue, the same mission, and the same slightly chaotic household where the floor contains more catnip than carpet, and Dreamies disappear faster than we can buy them.

The cats have approved the rebrand. Well... they accepted a bribe involving Dreamies. That's practically a legally binding agreement in cat law.

Everything else stays exactly the same. Every abandoned kitten, every frightened stray, every senior cat looking for one last loving home, and every animal that needs a second chance will still find it here.

Behind the scenes, James has been working hard on a brand-new website where you'll soon be able to see all of the cats, follow their stories, and keep up with everything we're doing.

This morning marks the start of a new chapter for us.

The claws have been retracted... for now. The furry board of directors has reluctantly approved the new logo after several emergency meetings, three broken ornaments, and an alarming number of biscuits. Their only remaining demand is that every one of them ends up exactly where they belong...
..curled up on someone's sofa, stealing your seat, shedding on your best jumper, and purring as if they own the place.

(Because, let's be honest, they will.)

Blind Foster Babies is currently going through some changes. As we speak, we are holding one of the BFB team against his will on the laptop, and he better get this right!

There's only one BFB left, and we love him dearly, but without Guisborough, there wouldn't be BFB or the Crazy Cat Lady.

Let's be honest... if it wasn't for the generosity of Guisborough, us fluff's would have eaten the Crazy Cat Lady by now, so thank you Guisborough for feeding us.

With this in mind... We are going through a few changes in the background. This Tech Monkey has been set three tasks

1) Get Dreamies
2) Get Catnip
3) Rebrand BFB to represent what our community has done to support us.

This human has been given his instructions, and he knows it. The claws are out.

From BFB, we say goodbye, but soon you will see what we have become.
