Jan and Cory are Animal Assisted Certified and will be working together to bring the many benefits of animal-assisted interactions to people across the Hampshire & Surrey borders.

🧠🐾 Mind stimulation + a tasty reward = a very happy dog! 🐾🧠

Wilson has discovered the joys of a dog treat puzzle… and let’s just say, being a super foodie definitely gives him extra motivation! 😂🐶

Puzzle toys are a great way to encourage dogs to use their brains, problem-solve, sniff, explore and work for their rewards. It can be a brilliant way to provide mental enrichment alongside physical exercise.

And Wilson? He’s taking his job VERY seriously when treats are involved! 😋🐾

A lovely 1:1 session with one of our young clients with Leah and Reggie 🐾💙

For some children, particularly those who experience anxiety or find new environments and experiences overwhelming, building trust can take time. That’s why our sessions are always gentle, child-led and completely pressure-free, allowing each child to engage in whatever way feels comfortable for them.

It was wonderful to see confidence gradually grow throughout the session. With patience, reassurance and Reggie’s calm presence, small moments of connection began to develop — showing just how powerful a safe and supportive environment can be.

There is no rush, no expectation and no “right” way to interact. Sometimes simply being alongside a therapy dog is a huge achievement. 🐾

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this young person’s journey and to see those little steps towards greater confidence and comfort.

💙 Every child is unique. Every journey is different. And every little step matters.

At Therapy Paws UK we understand that every child and young person is different — which is why our sessions are tailored around the individual, their needs, interests and goals**. 💙

Our therapy dog sessions can be particularly beneficial for children and young people accessing EOTAS or SEND provision, providing a calm, engaging and supportive environment where they can build connections at their own pace.
