A few weeks ago, Percy my darling client of 3 ½ years, fell and cut his leg open. It’s been a long journey but today he was finally allowed out on a walk; so we went to the private field (The Dog Field Company) so he could run to his hearts content without worrying about seeing other dogs. ♡

We’ve been a bit quiet over here, the weather has been too hot for over a month now - so regular walks have been limited or cancelled all together.
Here’s a few of our lovely fur clients we’ve been looking after ♡

Hope you’re all staying safe and cool ☀️

Happy 4th Birthday to our lovely Percy ♡ 🥳
Crazy to think we’ve known him since he was a puppy. We hope you enjoy your day with lots of snuggles and treats ♡

______________________

With weather predicted to be over 28c next week, a lot of our walks will be replaced by house sitting instead.

The hot weather can pose a serious threat to all life stages and breeds. It’s important that walks be done very early morning, or late at night; there is also nothing wrong with your dogs missing a walk.

Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke symptoms:

❕Excessive panting
❕Thick/sticky drool
❕Bright red or pale gums
❕Lameness
❕Vomiting
❕Diarrhoea
❕Restlessness

It’s important to catch these symptoms quickly and seek out veterinarian guidance - bringing your pet’s temperature down too quickly (e.g. ice cubes) can shock their body.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Monday - Fridays: 9am - 5pm
Saturday & Sunday: Appointment Only

Stay safe ♡

In December 2025, I was extremely fortunate to be given the platform to discuss my business, Urban Pets, and how I navigate owning and running a business that caters to reactive, aggressive and anxious pets all whilst maintaining mental health issues.

Collin graced me with his time to discuss what it means to be a dog walker and pet sitter with chronic mental health issues. It’s taken a while for me to pluck up the courage to listen to my episode myself, but I feel happy (and proud) to share amongst those who may be interested in listening to it.

Thank you again to Pet Sitter Confessional, and Collin for being a gracious and patient host.
