Completely honest advert.
15hh 7yo Irish gelding. The time has come to find our lovely Boysie his new home. He is an absolute sweet heart but does have a nervous side to him, never nasty or silly but wouldn’t suit a nervous or novice rider. If you’re confident he will jump through hoops for you- quite literally!
He is still low mileage but I’d say for his age, he just hasn’t been rushed, he goes sweetly in the school, hacks alone and in company, good in traffic and open spaces, LOVES his jumping. Has never said no to anything we’ve put infront of him. Boysie has been to the gallops, arena hires, xc schooling, always loaded like a pro, traveled like a dream and behaved impeccably. He’s a dream on the ground, worst he will do is be unsure but once he knows you’re not going to be heavy handed, he will do what ever you ask and put all his trust in you.
To someone who is confident and experienced he is just a sporty type, forward off your leg, responsive, wants a job and wants his brain using, but he is the type of horse who would be ruined and get scared if the wrong rider got on him. I cannot stress the amount of willingness this little horse has and how much he will blossom with his person. We have never had any issues with him but haven’t ever given him a reason to doubt or not trust us.
He is now ready to find his new family as I feel he has reached his potential with us. Not suitable for nervous/novice/wobbly riders.
Boysie isn’t the finished article yet but will come on so much once he’s found his person.
Priced accordingly. Would be a 5fig horse this time next year with a seasons hunting and some competition/pony club experience.
