Pawsitive Pets I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 4yrs experience. Prior to this I ran my own very successful dog walking company for around 3yrs.

Pancake has been terrified of walks since his owners got him as a puppy. After having awful advice from their previous trainer, this sadly was not helped at all leading to a 2yr old dog that dragged his owners to get home, rather than to get out for a walk. He was terrified of traffic and any loud noises on a walk. We’ve all been working really hard with him and for the first time ever on a walk, he got the zoomies!!
So incredibly proud of him and his owners hard work and dedication. The only way is up now precious boy🥰❤️

Maple is absolutely rocking his walking now😍 from being absolutely crazy, dragging all over the place, he now walks calmly next to me🫶🏻 within the next couple of weeks we are hoping to transfer these skills over to his owners so that he can have more controlled walks with them too. We will then be pushing even further to allow him to enjoy walks with his Labrador brother, Pancake🥰🫶🏻

Maple you absolute superstar🌟 It was the first time I took Maple outside the front door today - we’ve spent lots of time proofing his behaviour on the lead in the house and garden, so it was time to make it into the big wide world 👀 he was VERY excited and he definitely tried to go back to his old ways of throwing his weight around and dragging with all his strength to get to what he wanted. But with lots of patience, this is what we ended up with - well done gorgeous boy!!! Pancake will soon follow suit, I just know it! He just has some fears to work through first so we’re taking everything at his pace☺️

My Rosie showing off her loose leash walking this week🥰 I don’t ask for the constant looking at me - but Rosie knows all the attention on me and focus gets her tasty snacks 😉 She also shows how a dog should feel about wearing a muzzle - absolutely no different to not wearing one! Rosie is muzzled as she eats everything she finds (including things that could harm her) and she can be dog reactive. Generally people see the muzzle and keep their distance, which helps us work on her training🥰
