Mira’s first full day and she’s already living her best life! 🌲
First time on the rig AND bike solo today — kept it short since she’s new, but she absolutely smashed it! She is flat out now and has 100% earned it. 😴
Weather was gorgeous out there too — well, until we got home and got absolutely battered by a 10 minute hail storm! Classic! ⛈️😂

Travelled like a dream in the van, held her own on the stake out line, and had a little “conversation” with Vader last night when she was pushing his buttons — he put her straight very calmly. Good lad! 🖤

While the dogs were working, Natalie and Daria were busy doing very important work of their own… pine cone collecting! 🌲🍂 Serious business!

And brilliant news — a lovely large dog crate has been donated to us, which means we now have enough and big enough crates for transport runs! Every little helps when it comes to getting these dogs where they need to be! 🙌🐾

Now the real work begins… house training. Wish us luck! 🏠😂

New foster!!

🐺 Welcome to the mad house, Amira!
Already being called Mira (Natalie’s orders 😄) and already earning her place — she’s barely been here five minutes and she’s already claimed a lap. A little stressed, a little hand shy, but a big softy underneath it all. She just needs time. 💙

Zelda wasn’t about to let the new girl just waltz in without a word though — a few scraps to establish the ground rules! Can’t blame her, it’s her house! 🤣 We’ll get there.

Tomorrow she joins us on the trails for a little forest therapy… for both of us 😅🤣

She’s already been told she has the “Robbins Family Look” — and honestly, can you argue with that face?! 🖤🤍

Cani Midlands Easter Race Weekend — Catton Hall 🐣🏆

What. A. Weekend. Four days, four races, and more memories than I know what to do with. My heart is absolutely bursting right now. 🖤

Let's talk about our girls first, because honestly — they stole the show.

**Georgia** 🌟 — class 11-13F canicross. She lined up and ran every single day. Friday 9:03, Saturday 8:39, Sunday 11:05, Monday 9:22 — and 2nd place in her class every single day. Now about that Sunday time... there was a proper faceplant. Muddy knees, muddy arms, an equipment failure mid-run — and yet one of the marshals stepped in, helped her get sorted, and Georgia being Georgia she got straight back up and ran it to the finish line anyway. That time means more than any of the others. I am SO proud of this girl. 🏅❤️

**Natalie** 🥹 — our tiny, mighty four-year-old in the Under 7s. She ran all four days without a second thought. Friday she was giggling her way around the course without a care in the world — pure joy. By Saturday and Sunday she meant business, chasing that faster time. And Monday? Well, Vader decided it was his turn to run with his little human and promptly pulled her over 😂 She got up, she carried on — an absolute trooper who just keeps going. Friday 1:12, Saturday 1:08, Sunday 1:02, Monday 1:14 — every single one of them magic. 💜

Now for our boy 🐺

Vader has been on such a confidence journey and this weekend was a big part of that story. Friday and Saturday he ran — and yes he spooked on the course a couple of times and slowed down, but look at those times improving and that is all that matters. Sunday and Monday the atmosphere just got a bit too much for him, and he made his feelings very clear by running absolutely perfectly... straight back to the van 😂 We never push, we never force — we let him tell us what he needs, and that will always be the right call. The progress is real and we are so proud of him. 🖤

And a special mention — watching Vader run with Danielle this weekend, calm, focused and totally relaxed around other dogs at the finish line... for anyone who knows how far this boy has come, that meant everything. So proud of him. 🖤

That said — watching those times, it's clear that as Vader's confidence grows he's going to need a partner who can really match his potential. Zelda is amazing but speed isn't quite her thing — so for now we keep building, keep supporting him, and who knows what the future holds for the Robbins racing pack... 👀🐺

And then there's Zelda 💙 — and where do we even start. This was her very first event and she was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Consistent, powerful, and utterly unfazed by the whole thing. She ran with Georgia every single day, with Natalie on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and with Dad on Monday — nine runs across the entire weekend without missing a beat. For a dog at her first event that is just extraordinary. She took every runner, every distance, every session completely in her stride and never gave anything less than everything. What an introduction to racing life, Zelda. We are so proud of you. 🐺💙

As for Dad in the Bikejor — Friday 5:16 with Vader, Saturday 4:40 with Vader, Sunday DNF (Vader had made his feelings very clear by that point 😂), and Monday 4th place with Zelda rounding off a stunning debut weekend in style! 🚴🐺

Massive massive love to Danielle Jade Fisher at Team Pick n’ Mix 🧡 — thank you for everything over the weekend, you are an absolute star.

And the biggest shoutout to Canicross Midlands for putting on such a brilliant, welcoming, well-run event. Four days of racing, incredible community vibes, and memories our family will keep forever. You make this sport what it is. We will absolutely be back! 🐾

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend wherever you spent it — and if we saw you at Catton Hall, it was an absolute pleasure! Here's to next season... maybe we'll see you on the start line? 🐾🏁

From our pack to yours 🐺🐺

🐾 She did it. Natalie’s Hike for Huskies — COMPLETE!
What a way to finish. Our little Natalie has completed her Hike for Huskies challenge — 26.22 miles on those tiny legs and not a single complaint along the way. 🥹🩷

This is a little girl who knows every foster by name, who runs to the dogs before she even gets her coat off, and who decided all by herself that she wanted to do something to help them. Whatever the weather, wherever we were in the country, she showed up every single day and got those miles done. 🐾
She has raised an incredible £274.23 (plus £63.25 in Gift Aid), smashing her £250 target — every single penny going to the huskies at 8 Below who need it most. 🐺🖤
To everyone who donated and cheered her on — thank you. You made a little girl very proud. 🙏

We are very proud of you Natalie ❤️
