Well… this is rather lovely. 🥹

Absolutely thrilled to share that Oliver’s Highland Pet Crematorium has been named a finalist in the Highland Business Awards 2026 for Most Promising New Business.

To be recognised in this category, before we have even reached our first birthday, means more than I can really put into words.

Oliver’s was created from something incredibly personal, I wrote my business plan with a very clear idea of the experience I wanted Highland families to have when saying goodbye to a much-loved pet.

Over this first year, so many Highland families have trusted us with their pets at one of the hardest times in their lives, and we never take that trust for granted.

To now have the business recognised in this way feels incredibly special. ♥️

Thank you to every family who has supported Oliver’s, recommended us, left a review, shared a post or simply told someone about what we do. You have all played a part in getting Oliver’s here, and I’m incredibly grateful.

I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself!

I'm Hayley, veterinary nurse and proud owner of Home Visit Pet Care – Alness & Highlands
I'm a mum to four wonderful (and very busy!) humans and an even bigger family of much-loved pets! 🐶🐱🐰🐢🐟🐔 Every day is full of muddy boots, wagging tails, cuddles -and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I've been a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2009, and caring for animals has always been my passion. Many of you may already know me from Highland Home Vet Nurse, where I've been providing home-based veterinary nursing services across the Highlands.

2 golden male working cocker spaniel pups, ready first week of September. Well bred. I wouldn't normally share pups but this breeder is a great friend of mine and they are really lovely pups. Send me a private message if interested and can pass details on 🧡🧡

That's me finished my holidays and back to normal tomorrow now. Thanks for your patience. I have been on a couple of local visits, but on the whole spent lots of time off with family during Golspie Gala Week 🫂
