A little recap on July. It was all about keeping cool. The horses enjoyed hanging out in the shade 😎 Water buffets to encourage them to keep drinking 💦 Refreshing hose downs 🚿 And some satisfying butt scratching 😂 I wonder what August will bring.

Summertime cool offs 😎☀️🚿💦🐴❤️

I’ve been enjoying hosing the horses off everyday during this heatwave & they have liked it too. I’m super proud of my baby horse Cody (not much of a baby anymore now that he’s 2 yrs old, but I still call him my baby 🥰) because last summer he was sceptical of the hose, but I’ve been doing clicker training with him to get him used to it & it’s paid off with some wonderful no drama cool offs this year 😊 Not to mention I always find it amusing how I manage to triple task 😂 by holding a horse, a hose & a phone all at once. I put that down to gaining practice multi tasking from when my kids were young haha👌🏼
