We had Willow for a dry groom and pamper 🐈‍⬛🐾
Then we had Misty, our oldest cat yet at 22 years old for a welfare trim. Misty doesn’t have the mobility she used to have so needed some help grooming. We were able to help her get matt free and get her looking her best again 😻🐈

Some stories touch your heart….. Coco’s was one such story ❤️
Her loving father contacted us explaining she had recently been rehomed after being with her family for 12 years….
Unfortunately she escaped and was missing for an agonising 2 weeks 😿
She eventually returned home but had lost weight and her left side was badly pelted…. 🙀
Coco had another challenge…. She didn’t respond well to grooming and had to be sedated each time to have it done, which is something we wanted to avoid…. 😾
We discussed a management plan with dad and secured some calming medication from the vet 💊
We realised quickly why she was sedated as she made her feelings clear with a few lightning quick swipes…..
However with patience and a gentle touch we were able to get her comfortable and remove the awful pelt.
We’re confident Coco will be a lot more comfortable now and wish her all the best in her new home 😺😽🐈‍⬛
It really was a pleasure to meet you both 🫶🏽

We had Cookie in for pelt removal as her coat was badly pelted 🐈
Then it was a dry groom for Bella 😸
Then we had Teddy the Maine c**n for a lion cut to remove his matted coat 🐈😸
Then it was Luca for a dry groom, he did ever so well considering it was his first time being groomed 😎🐈
Then it was Hector’s turn for his 3 monthly teddy cut 😻🐈

Remember to regularly feel your cat’s coat to check for matts. If they are small they can often be brushed out but when they get too big or too close to the skin they have to be clipped away.
If your cat doesn’t allow you to groom them or run away it could be because they are matted and find grooming uncomfortable.
Check under their neck, armpits, chest and hind legs as these are the common areas.

Finally it was Stevie’s turn. He’s a senior cat of 20 years 🐈‍⬛
We gave him a full dry groom and applied a nice shampoo to get him smelling yummy 😸🐈‍⬛
