2026 by the numbers!!

Every year on February 14th, the anniversary of Mungo’s Books, I share which anniversary we’re celebrating, and the other interesting numbers that the year brings.

This year…I was so excited about celebrating 20 years of Mungo’s Books that I forgot to share the rest.😁

So here are ALL of the numbers for 2026!

20 years of Mungo’s Books for Dog People
24 years as a professional dog trainer
29 years as a bookseller

Wren is 16. (She’s actually now 16 1/2!)
Wilder is 2.
(Nobody has ever asked my age, so it’s not on the list.😉)

So if you want experience and education…you’re in the right place.🙂

This is where Wren and I are now.❤️

While I recognize that taking good care of her takes a lot of thought and consideration and watchfulness (and research and vet visits and…), this really describes the mental load well. It can be exhausting.

And I love her more than enough to do everything that I can to keep her happy and comfortable. I owe her the best life right until the end.❤️

This exercise in patience will be followed by a nice long walk and some fun & games to make up for the neglect.😁

What a weekend!😁

Today is catch-up day. I’m putting away everything from PetFest and dealing with the normal things that I couldn’t get done while I was away.

And then, I’ll be contacting everybody who wanted to get started with their dogs.

I am SO excited to show them what a difference we can make for their dog’s behaviour and, more importantly, for their relationship with their dog.🥰

I learned about a new organization this weekend, and I love what they do!

They help seniors to take care of their dogs, so that they can stay together when things get a little harder.❤️

And it’s all volunteers who provide the support!

This is one of the reasons why events like PetFest are worth attending. Finding out about what is available - unique products, excellent services, wonderful organizations, and local businesses that you would love to support…if only you knew that they existed!

I’m at Spruce Meadows until 5:00 today, along with all of this good stuff just waiting for you to come and look!🙂
