❤️ This one means a lot to me personally.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this veterinary professional twice during her career.

The first time, I helped them secure their first role before they had even had their graduation ceremony.

Years later, I was able to approach them again when their dream job became available.

Being trusted to support someone through such important career moments is something I never take for granted.

And when they described my approach as being like “the support of a long time friend” it honestly meant so much.

This is why I started VN Recruitment and why I believe recruitment should be about so much more than CVs, vacancies and placements.

A little bit of a belated update from me! 🐾

Since June, I’ve (Laura) been back working with VN Recruitment Ltd, my own veterinary recruitment agency and honestly, it feels SO good to be back at my roots.

I’ve remained within the veterinary recruitment industry throughout, but I’d been working for a corporate organisation for the last chapter of my career. Whilst it taught me a lot, if I’m being completely honest, I’d reached a point where I’d started to doubt myself and what I was capable of.

So, when I made the decision to come back to Vet & Nurse (VN) Recruitment, I knew I needed a little bit of time to find my feet again. I’ve been quieter on here whilst I settled back in, found my confidence again and reminded myself why I started this business in the first place. 🌟

And now… I’m loving it. 💚

Being back at my roots, having those genuine conversations with vets and RVNs, getting to know what people actually want from their next move and making those all important placements has reminded me just how much I love what I do.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about finding the right person for the right practice and I’m so pleased to be back doing it my way.

Here’s to new chapters, finding your confidence again and remembering what you’re really good at. ✨
