Accredited through the Victoria Stilwell Academy of Dog Training & Behaviour as an 'in person' student, graduating with distinction. I'm Lesley, the founder of Paws Up Academy. Through Paws Up Academy I am dedicated to providing the highest quality dog training services to my clients both canine and human. I understand that every dog is unique and requires a personalised approach to learning. I work with you and your dog to create tailored, force free learning that meets your dog's specific needs. My goal is to help you build a strong bond of mutual trust and safety with your dog, creating a happy and healthy relationship that lasts a lifetime. I am the proud caregiver for a senior Husky / Malamute / Samoyed cross female and until the end of July 2025 a purebred Siberian Husky male, who sadly passed away at 10 years of age. Before bringing my dogs home and becoming a professional dog trainer, I worked for many years in the Banking Sector training people in skills relevant to that industry. I strongly believe people training is a very important aspect of dog training. I founded Paws Up Academy in January 2018 so have many years of practical experience with all ages and breeds of dogs.
